We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for both your son and your financial burdens. Father, we lift up this young man to You, asking that You grant him focus, diligence, and favor in completing his school project. May his teacher extend grace and guidance, helping him to finish well. We pray that You would sharpen his mind and steady his hands, Lord, so that he may learn responsibility and the value of perseverance. Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."*
We also bring before You the weight of taxes and financial uncertainty. Heavenly Father, we ask that You provide wisdom and clarity as this parent seeks to fulfill their obligations. Give them understanding in navigating these matters, and open doors of provision where needed. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We trust that You are Jehovah-Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we also want to gently encourage this parent to lean fully on You in all things. While the request was lifted up in Jesus’ name, we want to emphasize the power and necessity of coming to the Father *only* through Christ. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."* There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or have our prayers heard. We pray that this parent would not only call on Jesus in times of need but would also walk in a deep, abiding relationship with Him, surrendering every area of life—including parenting and finances—to His lordship.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take hold in this situation. The Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* We declare that this family is covered by the blood of Jesus and that the enemy has no foothold here. Instead, we speak peace, provision, and divine intervention over their circumstances.
Father, we also pray for this parent’s spiritual walk. May they find strength and encouragement in Your Word, in fellowship with other believers, and in prayer. Help them to model faith and trust in You before their son, so that he too may grow to know and love the Lord. We ask that You would draw this family closer to You, deepening their dependence on Your grace and mercy.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
