We come before the Lord with this heartfelt request, lifting up concerns about sleep, financial stress, and the processing of taxes. First, we acknowledge that all things are possible through Christ, who strengthens us, and we seek His peace and guidance in every area of life.
Father, we pray for restful sleep for this dear one. The habit of staying up late can disrupt the body’s natural rhythms and hinder the ability to walk in the fullness of Your blessings. Scripture reminds us in Psalm 127:2, *"It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."* Lord, we ask that You instill discipline and a desire for godly rest. Help them to prioritize sleep as an act of stewardship over the body You have given, so they may rise refreshed and ready to serve You each day.
We also bring the matter of taxes before You, asking for Your divine order and protection. The anxiety over payments and processing is understandable, but we trust in Your provision. Philippians 4:19 declares, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* We rebuke any spirit of fear or confusion in this situation and ask that You ensure the tax payment is processed correctly—only once—and that the returns are handled swiftly and accurately. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in this matter.
We do want to gently remind this dear one that our prayers are offered in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If there is any area of life where Jesus is not yet Lord, we encourage them to surrender fully to Him, for He alone is the way, the truth, and the life.
Lord, we also ask that You grant wisdom in managing finances and time. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them. May they grow in faith, patience, and reliance on You, knowing that You are a God who hears and answers prayer.
We declare peace over this situation and trust that You are working all things together for good. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
