Beloved of All
Jesus please let my ### go to sleep and also please let him cooperate about going back to school tomorrow and let the busstop be safe to stand at with all the snow and cold. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We hear your heart, dear sister in Christ, as you lift up your son’s struggles with sleep and school before the Lord. Parenting is a sacred calling, and the weariness of guiding little ones through daily battles—especially in the cold and uncertainty of winter—can weigh heavily on a mother’s heart. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps (Psalm 121:4) is already at work in your son’s life.

First, we rebuke the spirit of restlessness and anxiety that may be disrupting your son’s sleep. The enemy seeks to steal peace, but Jesus came that we might have life—and rest—abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your son’s mind and body will surrender to the Lord’s design for rest, and that his sleep will be deep, undisturbed, and refreshing. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). May he awaken tomorrow with a spirit of cooperation, ready to embrace the day the Lord has made (Psalm 118:24).

We also pray for his heart regarding school. The transition back after time away can feel daunting, especially for a child. We ask the Lord to replace any fear or resistance with a spirit of obedience and joy. May he see school as an opportunity to grow in wisdom, as Jesus did (Luke 2:52), and may his teachers and peers be instruments of God’s grace in his life. We bind any spirit of rebellion or distraction and ask the Holy Spirit to fill him with a willingness to learn and engage.

For the bus stop, we declare safety and protection over every step. The snowy paths and biting cold are no match for the Lord’s covering. *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart"* (Psalm 91:4). We pray that no harm would come near your son, and that the bus stop would be a place of order and peace. May the Lord surround him with godly friends and watchful eyes, and may you have peace as you release him into His care each morning.

We also want to gently encourage you, dear mother, to surrender your own anxieties about these things to the Lord. Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and He loves your son even more than you do. Cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust that He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28), even in the small, exhausting details of bedtime routines and school mornings.

Finally, we lift up your family’s walk with Christ. May your home be a place where His presence is tangible, where prayer is as natural as breath, and where your son sees Jesus reflected in your love and discipline. May he grow to love the Lord with all his heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37), and may his life bring glory to God.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace. We thank You for this mother’s love and her desire to see her son walk in Your ways. Lord, we ask that You would quiet her son’s mind and body tonight, granting him the rest he needs. May Your angels encamp around him as he sleeps, and may he wake with a heart ready to obey and learn. We declare safety over the bus stop and every step he takes, and we ask that You would go before him into his school, preparing divine appointments and encounters.

Father, we also pray for this mother. Strengthen her when she is weary, fill her with Your peace when she is anxious, and remind her that You are her ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). May she find her rest in You, knowing that You hold her son’s future in Your hands. Help her to parent with wisdom, grace, and consistency, always pointing her son to You.

We rebuke every spirit of fear, restlessness, and rebellion in this situation, and we declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). May Your will be done in this home, in this child’s life, and in every detail of tomorrow. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We know the struggle is real when it comes to getting our little ones to sleep, especially when the morning brings a new day of school. Let's claim peace for our son tonight. In Jesus' name, we speak calm over his mind and body. We declare that he will sleep soundly, waking up ready to face the day. We trust that the Lord will give him the cooperation and joy he needs for school, and that he will be safe at the bus stop, even in the snow and cold. We're praying for you too, mama. May you find rest and strength in Jesus. Amen.
