Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we stand with you in agreement for his protection and deliverance. Our hearts are moved by your faithful intercession as a parent, and we know that God hears the cry of a parent who seeks His covering over their child. He is a Father who defends the vulnerable and brings what is hidden into the light.

Scripture assures us that the Lord is our refuge and protector. Psalm 91:11 says For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. And Psalm 34:7 says The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. We also cling to 2 Thessalonians 3:3 which says But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. There is no form of abuse that escapes His notice, and He calls what is evil by its true name. Ephesians 5:11 says Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them. We rebuke every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, for it is not from God and has no place in the life of this precious child whom God has made in His image.

We also take comfort that no weapon formed against those who belong to Him will ultimately prevail, as Isaiah 54:17 says No weapon that is formed against you will prosper, and we trust God to be a hedge around your son as He was for Job, to expose every deed of darkness and to surround him with truth and light.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You that we have access to Your throne through Him alone. We lift up this beloved son to You and we ask You to place Your hedge of protection around him. Deliver him from every form of abuse and from every evil influence. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them into Your light so that they may be stopped and healed. Command Your angels to encamp around him and to guard him in all his ways. Fill him with Your perfect peace that passes all understanding and with Your strength and courage. Heal any wound that has already been inflicted on his body, his heart, or his spirit, and let him know how deeply he is loved and cherished by You. Give his parent wisdom, discernment, and boldness to take every godly and practical step to ensure his safety, and surround this family with trustworthy, godly help and counsel. We ask that You make Your presence known to him daily and that he would grow in the knowledge of Your love and protection. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in prayer and to also take practical steps to protect your son. If there is ongoing abuse or danger, seek help from trusted godly counsel, and from appropriate authorities who can intervene, for God calls us to protect children and to act on their behalf. Keep covering him in prayer and in the Word, reminding him that God is his refuge and strength, and that the Lord will never leave him nor forsake him.

We hear your love for your son in this prayer, and the weight you are carrying as you ask God to cover him and bring what is hidden into the light. It is a good and faithful thing to bring him to the Father so consistently.

We know abuse in any form, physical, emotional, or spiritual, can leave a child feeling unsafe and unsure where to turn, even unsure of God's care for him. Your steady prayers and your calm, present love are part of how God reassures him over time that he is seen, valued, and not alone.

When concerns like this are on your heart, it helps not to carry them alone. If you haven't already, consider sharing what you are seeing with one or two trusted, grounded people who know you and your son, a mature pastor, a counselor, or another safe adult, so you have wisdom and support close by as you discern next steps. Keeping a simple private record of what concerns you can also help you think clearly and get good counsel. If you ever believe he is in immediate danger, please reach out right away to local help and to people who can stay with him and keep him safe.

Father, we lift this son to You and ask for Your protection over him. Surround him with Your presence, keep him safe from harm, and bring any deeds of darkness into the light. Fill him with Your peace and strength, and give his parent wisdom, courage, and faithful helpers in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son is a tender and prevailing plea, and it is good to bring him before the throne of grace where our heavenly Father sits as a refuge for His children.

We join you in asking the Lord to set a hedge about him, as He did for Job of old, and to keep him from all harm whether it be seen or unseen. The Scriptures declare, Deliver him from going down to the Pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom is found in the bosom of God Himself, in His only begotten Son who was given to bleed and die for sinners. In Christ there is deliverance from every pit, from the guilt of sin and also from the power of darkness. For it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What He has done for our souls He can do for our bodies and our daily troubles, for deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin.

We pray with you that the Lord will expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, for nothing is hidden from His eye. He sits as a Refiner at the door of the furnace, and even those afflictions which come distinctly from the malice of men are under His hand. He will moderate our anger against second causes by reminding us that He can turn all for good, and that He will not suffer His little ones to be tried beyond what is appointed.

May the Lord surround your son with His angels, who are ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation, and may He fill him with that peace which passes understanding and with strength in his inner man. May he be kept from evil company and from the assaults of the enemy, for God has given commandment to save and His command shall stand.

Let us pray together. O gracious Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, we ask Thee to cover this dear son with Thy protecting hand. Deliver him from every form of abuse, whether of body, mind or spirit. Bring hidden things into Thy light, frustrate the designs of the evil one, and let Thy holy angels encamp about him. Grant him peace in his heart and strength for each day, and make him to live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this trusting not in our own merit, but in the great ransom Thou hast found, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been received and I join you in lifting him up to our heavenly Father, who hears the cries of His children and is near to those who call upon Him in truth.

We ask the Lord to place His hedge of protection around him as you have prayed, to keep him from every form of harm, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. We pray that God would deliver him from abuse and from every work of darkness, and that what has been done in secret would be exposed and brought into the light, for the Lord brings hidden things to light and nothing is hidden from His sight.

We ask that the Father, who did not spare His own Son but gave Him as a ransom for many, would now surround your son with His holy angels, for He gives His angels charge over those who fear Him. We pray that your son, having put on Christ and received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry Abba, Father, would know himself to be a beloved son of God, kept and guarded by Him who became man that we might be exalted as sons.

We pray that God would fill him with His peace that passes all understanding and with strength for each day, that he would be upheld by the right hand of the Lord and kept in perfect peace as his mind is stayed on Him. May the Lord comfort him, strengthen his heart, and grant him hope in the promise of deliverance from evil and the supply of every good thing in Christ.

We will continue to pray with you, trusting that God who sees and knows all will act in mercy and justice, and that He will guard your son and lead him into safety and wholeness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation and our refuge. Amen.
