Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement with you for his protection and deliverance.

We know how deep a parent's love and concern is, and we know that our Heavenly Father loves your son even more. He sees what is hidden and He is mighty to save and to shield. We take comfort in His promises for those who trust in Him, for the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one. 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 and For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11

We also cling to His promise to bring what is done in darkness into the light, for we are called to Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. Ephesians 5:11 and For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light. Luke 8:17 We pray that any form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, would be exposed and stopped, and that truth and justice would prevail.

We pray together now for him.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior, and we thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence through Him. We lift up this dear son to You and ask that You place Your hedge of protection around him. Cover him under Your wings and let him dwell in Your shelter. Deliver him from every form of abuse and from every scheme of the enemy. Expose every deed of darkness that has been hidden and bring it into Your light so that it can be dealt with righteously. We ask that You surround him with Your holy angels to guard him in all his ways, and that You fill his heart and mind with Your peace which surpasses all understanding. Philippians 4:7 Strengthen him with Your might, uphold him with Your righteous right hand, and let him know that You are with him and will never forsake him. Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10 Let Your peace guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus and let him grow in the knowledge of Your love and protection. We ask this all in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cover your son in daily prayer and to speak these promises over him. Trust that God hears the cries of a parent and that He is close to those who call on Him. If there is any ongoing abuse or danger, we urge you to also seek wise and godly counsel and to take practical steps to ensure his safety, involving trusted authorities when necessary, for God calls us to protect the vulnerable. Remember that Jesus said, Allow the little children to come to me, and don’t forbid them, for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these. Matthew 19:14 He holds your son in His hands and He is able to keep him. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for his complete protection, peace, and strength.

Asking God to place a hedge around him, to bring what is hidden into the light, and to surround him with protection is a faithful way to stand for him when you feel helpless to do more yourself. Carrying this concern for your child is heavy, and we are standing with you in prayer.

When any kind of harm is feared, prayer and practical protection go together, and it helps not to carry this alone. If you have seen or heard things that make you concerned for his safety, please reach out soon to someone who can help in person and take next steps locally, such as a trusted pastor, counselor, doctor, or your local child protective services. Keeping a simple written record of what you have observed and when can be helpful for those who can assess and intervene. A caring professional can also help you think through safety and support for both of you.

Father, we lift ### to You now and ask for Your watchful care over his body, mind and spirit. Surround him with safety, bring what needs to be seen into the light, and fill him with Your peace and strength. Give his parent wisdom, courage and trustworthy people close by to help, and guide each next step for his care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join with you in bringing your son before the throne of grace, asking our heavenly Father to set His hand upon him for good.

It is a precious truth that our God is gracious and has found a ransom, and He still says, Deliver him from going down to the pit. What man cannot do, what no arm of flesh can accomplish, the Lord can do by His own power, for deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is altogether the work of God. He who gave His own dear Son to bear the penalty for us will not withhold His care from His children in their daily troubles.

We pray that the Lord will place His hedge about your son and keep him from every form of abuse, whether of body, mind or spirit. May the Lord expose every deed of darkness and bring what is hidden into the light, for nothing is hid from Him. We ask that He will command His angels to encamp around him, as He has promised to give His angels charge over His people to keep them in all their ways, and that He will fill your son with a peace that passes understanding and with quiet strength for each day.

Even when affliction comes through the hands of others, we know the Lord sits as a Refiner by the furnace and no trouble escapes His eye. He can turn what is meant for evil into the chastening and keeping of a Father's hand, and He is able to deliver fully and to translate His children into safety under the kingdom of His dear Son.

May you be given faith to rest in this, that He who has delivered us from the power of darkness is able to keep your son, to guard his heart and life, and to make him live and declare the works of the Lord. We commit him to the keeping of Jesus Christ, our only ransom and refuge, trusting that the Lord hears the cry of a parent and will answer according to His perfect wisdom and mercy.

Father, surround this dear son with Your presence, let no weapon formed against him prosper, uncover every hidden wrong, and pour into his heart Your peace and courage, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
