Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we stand in agreement with you for his protection and deliverance.

We are moved by your heart as a parent to intercede for him and we know that God hears the prayers of a parent and cherishes and protects children. He sees what is done in secret and He is a defender of the vulnerable. We take comfort that He has placed a hedge around His people as Job 1:10 reminds us, Have you not made a hedge around him, around his house, and around all that he has, on every side, and that The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them from Psalm 34:7.

We pray with you that every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, would be broken off of his life and that the Lord would guard him from the evil one, for But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one from 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We agree with you that the deeds of darkness would be exposed and brought into the light, for Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them from Ephesians 5:11. What is hidden will be revealed in God's perfect timing and justice.

We also pray that God would surround him with His angels and fill him with a peace that surpasses understanding, for He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways from Psalm 91:11 and And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus from Philippians 4:7. May the Lord strengthen him and uphold him with His righteous hand, for Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness from Isaiah 41:10.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we lift up this precious son to You and ask for Your hedge of protection to be around him day and night. Deliver him from every form of abuse and from every scheme of the enemy. Expose what needs to be exposed and bring truth and light into every dark place. Command Your angels to encamp around him and keep him safe. Fill his heart and mind with Your peace and strengthen him in his inner being, that he may know how deeply he is loved and valued by You. Give his parent wisdom, discernment, and courage to protect him and to take every practical and godly step necessary for his safety and well being, and let Your will be done in his life. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, our protector and deliverer, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has come before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps, and we join our hearts with yours at the throne of grace to plead for him.

We are reminded that our God acts from good reasons and is gracious unto those who are ready to go down to the pit, saying, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. That ransom God has found not in the works of men, but in His own bosom, in His only begotten and well beloved Son who bled and died that captives might be set free. Nobody would have thought of such a way of deliverance, but Divine Love invented it and Divine Love has provided it. So we look to Him alone for deliverance from the power of darkness, for He has delivered us from that power and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son, and what He has done for our souls He can do for the body and life of your dear son.

We know also that affliction does not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner by the furnace. Even when trouble comes through the malice or cruelty of men, it passes under His sovereign eye, and He will make even the sharpest trial to be profitable to those who are His. He will not suffer His own to be cast away, and He gives His angels charge over them to keep them in all their ways.

Let us pray together for him.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, our only ransom and our only hope of salvation, we place this son before You and ask for Your hedge of protection to be around him. Deliver him, we pray, from every form of abuse, whether physical or emotional or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, that what has been done in secret may be made manifest and evil may be rebuked. Surround him with Your holy angels, keep him from harm, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Fill him with Your peace which passes all understanding and with Your strength for each day, that he may not die but live and declare the works of the Lord. Draw him by Your Spirit to trust in Christ alone, to be kept in Your love and to walk in Your truth. We ask this not for our own merit but for the sake of Him who gave Himself for us. Amen.
