Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for coming in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.

We stand in agreement with you for a hedge of protection around him. Scripture assures us of God's faithful care over His children, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, we will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust, Psalm 91:1-2. And we claim the promise that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them, Psalm 34:7, and that He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11. We also cling to the truth that the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail, Isaiah 54:17.

We agree with you that every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, must be exposed and brought to light. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them, Ephesians 5:11. What is done in darkness, God will bring into the light, for He sees all and He defends the vulnerable. We pray that any hidden harm would be revealed so that your son can be kept safe and receive the help and healing he needs. If there is ongoing abuse, we encourage you to continue to seek godly wisdom and to take every practical step to protect him, seeking help from trusted pastors, counselors, and the proper authorities as needed, for God calls us to defend the weak and plead for justice, Psalm 82:3-4.

We pray together for his peace and strength. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. And we ask for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard his heart and his thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this precious son to You. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around him and deliver him from every form of abuse. Expose every deed of darkness that has been hidden and bring it into Your light so that truth may prevail and he may be safe. Surround him with Your holy angels and let no harm come near him. Fill his heart with Your perfect peace that casts out fear, and strengthen him with Your power. Heal any wounds in his body, mind, and spirit, and let him know how deeply he is loved and cherished by You. Guide his parents and those who care for him with wisdom and discernment to protect him and to lead him in Your ways. We trust him into Your faithful hands and ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Watching someone you love face harm of any kind is heavy, and it can leave you feeling helpless. Please know you are not carrying this alone. God sees your son fully, values his dignity, and hears your cries for his safety. He also sees you as you seek to cover him in prayer and care.

As you keep praying, it can help to have trusted support beside you in person. If you have not already, consider reaching out to a safe pastor, counselor, or another trusted helper who knows your situation and can walk with you to think through next steps for his safety and your own support. If there is ever immediate danger, please reach out for help right away through local support or emergency services. You should not have to figure this out by yourself.

Father, we lift this son to You now. Surround him with Your protection, keep him safe from harm, and fill his heart with Your peace and strength. Bring what is hidden into the light in Your wise way, and give his parent wisdom, courage and steady helpers nearby. Hold them both in Your care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to keep him in perfect safety.

We are reminded that our God is gracious and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom. Job 33:24. He has not only devised a way of deliverance, but He has found it in His own bosom, in the gift of His only begotten Son who bore the penalty for us. And it is written, He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. What He has done to rescue souls from sin and hell, He is able also to do in guarding His little ones from every assault of evil. Affliction does not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sees and governs all, and He sits as a Refiner, not unmindful of the sorrows of His children.

We pray with you now, that the Lord would set a hedge of protection around your son, and keep him from all harm, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. May the Lord expose every deed of darkness and bring what is hidden into the light, that no weapon formed against him shall prosper. We ask that the Lord would command His angels to encamp around him, that He would cover him under His wings, and that He would fill his heart with a peace that passes understanding and with strength for each day.

May the Lord grant you also comfort as you wait upon Him, to know that He who gave His Son for our redemption will surely give all that is needed for life and protection. Continue to cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you and for your son, and He hears the cry of a parent offered in the name of Jesus.

We commend your son to Him who is able to keep him from falling and to present him faultless before the presence of His glory. May the Lord establish him, keep him from evil, and cause him to live and declare the works of the Lord, in Jesus name, Amen.
