We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, interceding for his complete protection and deliverance. Father God, You are our refuge and fortress, a very present help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). We stand in the gap for this young man, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, we ask that You would indeed place a hedge of protection around him, spirit, soul, and body, shielding him from all forms of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.
We rebuke every spirit of darkness that seeks to harm or oppress him. The Bible tells us that the enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that Your angels encamp around those who fear You and deliver them (Psalm 34:7). We pray that You would dispatch Your heavenly host to guard him in all his ways, that no evil would befall him, nor any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10-11). Expose every hidden deed of darkness, Lord, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known (Luke 8:17). Bring every scheme of the enemy into the light, that justice and truth may prevail.
Father, we ask that You fill with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might in his inner man (Ephesians 3:16). Let him know that he is never alone, for You are with him always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Remind him of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and let him find his identity and worth in You alone.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are in authority over him, parents, teachers, mentors, and spiritual leaders. Grant them the insight to recognize any signs of trouble and the courage to act in accordance with Your will. May they be instruments of Your grace and protection in his life.
Lord, if there are any areas where or those around him have strayed from Your ways, we ask for conviction and repentance. Draw him closer to You, that he may walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7). Surround him with godly influences and friends who will encourage him in his faith and hold him accountable to live a life that honors You.
We declare that no plan of the enemy will succeed against him, for the Lord is his light and his salvation, whom shall he fear? The Lord is the strength of his life, of whom shall he be afraid? (Psalm 27:1). We trust in Your unfailing love, O God, and commit into Your hands, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
