Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for your son, lifting him up before the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep concern and trust in Your mighty protection. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over , asking that You dispatch Your heavenly hosts to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

Lord, we ask that You expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray that any schemes of the enemy against would be brought into the light, that justice would prevail, and that those who seek to harm him would be thwarted by Your mighty hand. Deliver him, O Lord, from every snare and trap set before him, and let Your truth be a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105).

Father, we also pray for ’s heart and mind. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might (Ephesians 3:16). Let him know that he is never alone, for You are with him always (Matthew 28:20). Surround him with godly influences, mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his life. Guard his mind from fear, anxiety, and despair, and let him walk in the confidence of Your love and protection.

We rebuke every spirit of abuse, oppression, or fear that may be targeting . In the name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that he is covered by the blood of Christ, which cleanses him from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:7). We stand in the gap for him, Lord, and ask that You would go before him, behind him, and beside him in every area of his life.

Father, we also lift up his faith. If he does not yet know You personally, we pray that he would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Draw him to Yourself, Lord, and let him experience the depth of Your love and the power of Your salvation. If he already walks with You, strengthen his faith and let him be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your glory.

We trust in Your unfailing love, O Lord, and we commit into Your care. May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with man (Luke 2:52). Thank You for hearing our prayer, for You are faithful and just. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We can only imagine the weight you carry as you lift your son before the Lord like this. Your love for him is so clear. We join you in that cry for protection and for every hidden thing to be brought into the open.

While we stand with you in prayer, we’ve also seen how God often answers those prayers through the courage of people who take the next difficult step. If your son is in an abusive situation right now, whether he’s a child or an adult, please don’t hesitate to involve someone who can help keep him safe. That might mean reaching out to a trusted pastor, a Christian counselor, or the appropriate authorities. We’ve watched too many families finally find freedom when they admitted how much they needed outside support, and then let others walk beside them. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Even that first conversation can begin to break the isolation abuse creates.

We ask our Father to shield your son with His angels, to give you wisdom and steady resolve, and to let whatever is hidden in darkness be fully brought into the light. Let peace and strength be his portion today.

Lord Jesus, we bring this son before You now. Guard him in every way, body, mind, and spirit. Expose the works of darkness that seek to harm him, and bring him into a place of safety. Give this parent courage and clear direction. Let Your peace rest on them both, and let Your justice and healing prevail. In Your name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a holy instinct that drives you to the throne of grace for your son, and be assured that the ear of the Lord is not heavy that it cannot hear, nor His arm shortened that it cannot save. Yet I must warn you of a fiery dart the enemy often launches at such times, the whisper that God has forgotten, that His deliverance tarries too long, that the pit is too deep. Remember Zion’s cry, “My God hath forgotten me,” and the Lord’s answer: “Can a woman forget her sucking child?” He will not forget your son, nor you. I think of Jacob at the brook Jabbok, trembling before Esau, crying for deliverance from the one he thought bloodthirsty. He crossed in fear, but God had gone before, and Esau fell on his neck with kisses. Tell it for your comfort: the same Lord who brought Jacob through the terror will bring your son forth from every snare.

You pray for a hedge of protection and for angels to surround him. Remember that the angels did not minister to our Lord in the midst of the desert temptation, but afterward, when the devil had departed. So it may be that your son must face the assault, but the ministering ones are poised to succor him when the battle is past, lest he dash his foot against a stone. The Prince of darkness suspects the sonship of every believer; he hisses, “If thou be the son of God,” and would storm the fort of faith. Yet the Son has made you free, and you shall be free indeed. The deliverance Christ wrought was not for angels when they fell, there was no ransom found for them, but for men He found a ransom in His own blood. That precious ransom has purchased your son, and none can pluck him from that pierced hand.

Do not think it strange if the trial seems severe. The Lord chastens every son whom He receives; He had one Son without sin, but never a son without sorrow. The rod is the most profitable instrument in His house. Yet after the affliction comes the song: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” This I foretell, that you will yet draw water with joy out of the wells of deliverance, recounting how the Lord exposed the deeds of darkness and brought your son into the light. None shall share the honor of that salvation; it shall be of free grace alone, to the praise of His glory.

Rest your soul, then, upon this: the deliverance from the power of sin and danger is as much God’s work as deliverance from guilt. He who began a good work will complete it. The eternal purpose decreed the moment of mercy, and the clock of heaven struck the hour when Christ cried, “It is finished.” For your son, the blood speaks better things than that of Abel. So go your way with this promise sealed in your heart: neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall separate your child from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Soon you shall stand in the congregation of the saints and declare the name of the Lord in Zion, and your mouth shall be filled with His praise.

To pray for a hedge of protection and deliverance from every form of abuse is to ask for the very work our Lord came to do. We were all once held fast under the power of darkness, not merely wandering in error but seated in the shadow of death, with no hope of escape. Yet God, in His great mercy, did not simply loosen our chains; He translated us into the kingdom of His beloved Son. This is the measure of His care, He delivered us from the pit and brought us into the honor of sonship, not by any effort of ours, but by His own loving power.

When you cry out for your son, recall that the same Lord who broke the dominion of darkness over your own soul is able to guard him now. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has never overcome it. Do not think protection rests on your pleading alone, for it is His gift from beginning to end. Yet you too are called to be a light, expose the deeds of darkness, bring hidden things into the open, for what is revealed by the light becomes visible and loses its power.

The One who gave His life as a ransom for many will surely surround your son with His angels and fill him with a peace the world cannot give. He has not only rescued you from evil but made you a child of God in the Son; trust in that unshakeable love. Let your own soul shine with the peace Christ gives, and the mist of fear will scatter before the Sun of righteousness.
