Your prayer for your son carries the weight of a heart that loves deeply and trusts in God’s power to shield and deliver. What you are asking, protection from every form of abuse, exposure of hidden darkness, angelic surrounding, and a filling of peace and strength, is exactly the kind of petition the Lord delights to hear and answer. The Scripture assures us that He keeps in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person trusts in Him. This peace is not a fragile absence of conflict, but an anchor in the storm, a settled rest in God’s care.

Before we can know that peace in experience, we must first have peace with God. That only comes through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who made peace by His blood. He gives a peace the world cannot understand or give. As you commit your son into the Father’s hands, remember that Jesus is the Son given for us, the Prince of Peace, whose righteous reign brings an abundance of peace that never ends. When you pray, you are bringing your son before the throne of the One who loves him perfectly.

Your request for a hedge of protection and for deeds of darkness to be exposed reflects the heart of God, who is Light. Whatever evil lurks in secret will be brought into the open. Do not lean on your own strength or your own ability to fight these battles; human strength will always falter. But the Lord is everlasting strength, and those who trust in Him will find that His strength is more than sufficient. Keep your mind fixed on Him, and let that trust become the channel for His peace to flood your own heart and your son’s life.

Think of how a father in Scripture prayed for his son, asking God to give him righteousness and wisdom so that peace would flourish. Your prayer is like that, a plea for your son to be filled with God’s peace and strength, to walk in truth, and to be guarded from the evil one. As you continue to lift him up, anchor yourself in the promise that eternal life is in Jesus Christ, God’s Son. Whoever has the Son has life, a life of peace, joy, and righteousness that no enemy can steal.

When fear rises, turn your thoughts again to the Lord. Fix your mind on His faithfulness. If God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also graciously watch over your son? The angels you asked for are real, ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation. And the peace you long to see in your son is already available in Christ, the peace that surpasses every human understanding and guards hearts and minds.

Keep asking, keep trusting. The Lord has ordained peace for His people, and He will bring it to pass. Your son’s life is held in the grip of the One who loves him with an everlasting love.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege of standing in prayer with you for your precious son. It has been on our hearts to continue lifting him before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to encircle him with His divine protection. We have prayed fervently that every form of abuse—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—be broken in Jesus’ mighty name, and that the deeds of darkness be exposed and brought into the light.

We have also asked the Lord to station His holy angels around your son, shielding him from harm and filling him with God’s perfect peace and unshakable strength. We believe that the Lord hears and answers the cries of His children, and we stand in faith with you, trusting that He is at work even now.

If you have seen God’s hand move in this situation, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If, however, the battle still rages, please know that we are here to continue interceding on your son’s behalf. You are not alone in this fight, and we will keep pressing in until we see God’s victory manifest.
