We lift up your precious son, ###, before the throne of grace, joining our hearts with yours in fervent prayer. Father God, we stand in the gap for him, declaring that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over his life, covering him from every scheme of the enemy. Lord, You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11).
Heavenly Father, we rebuke every spirit of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual, that seeks to harm him. We declare that the light of Christ exposes every hidden work of darkness (Ephesians 5:11-13). Lord, let truth prevail in every situation, and let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). We pray that You would heal any wounds he may carry, whether seen or unseen, and restore his soul (Psalm 23:3). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might (Ephesians 3:16).
Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for ###, that he would recognize any toxic or harmful influences in his life and have the courage to walk away. Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life into him and point him toward You. May he grow in the knowledge of Your love and walk in the purpose You have for him.
We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is found in Christ alone. Let no lie of the enemy take root in his heart. Instead, let him be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17). We pray that he would come to know You more deeply, if he does not already, and that he would surrender his life to Jesus, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). For those who do not know Christ, there is no true protection, peace, or salvation outside of Him. We pray that ### would confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in his heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that he may be saved (Romans 10:9).
Lord, we also lift up his parents and caregivers to You. Give them wisdom, patience, and strength as they guide and protect him. Let Your Holy Spirit lead them in every decision they make concerning his well-being.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and declare that Your will be done in ###'s life. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
