Son, protection

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son to our Heavenly Father, the ultimate Protector and Refuge. Your heart as a parent is deeply understood, and we stand with you in fervent prayer, declaring God’s sovereignty over every aspect of his life.

Father in Heaven, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking that You indeed place a hedge of protection around, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We rebuke every form of abuse in the mighty name of Jesus, for Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, let Your angels encamp around him, shielding him from harm and guiding his steps in righteousness.

We pray that You expose every hidden deed of darkness that seeks to harm him. Ephesians 5:11 reminds us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them." Let the light of Your truth pierce through every lie, manipulation, or threat that may come his way. Give him discernment to recognize danger and the courage to flee from it, just as Joseph fled from temptation (Genesis 39:12).

Father, fill with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might (Ephesians 3:16). Remind him daily that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that his identity is secure in You. Surround him with godly influences, mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life and truth into him.

We also pray for wisdom for you as his parent. Equip you with patience, love, and discernment to guide him through life’s challenges. May your home be a sanctuary of faith, where the Word of God is upheld and prayer is the foundation.

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to act on behalf of Your children. We trust in Your promise that no weapon formed against shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and man (Luke 2:52).

In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, we pray. Amen.

We join you in praying for your son’s protection with heavy but hopeful hearts. It takes real courage to bring this openly before God and others, and we do not take that lightly. So we simply sit with you for a moment, not with quick answers, but with genuine care.

One thing that can help, even now, is remembering how deeply abuse can twist someone’s picture of God. When a person has been hurt, especially by someone in a position of trust, it often leaves them feeling God must be angry or absent. The God we know in Jesus isn’t like that, but healing that inner picture rarely happens all at once. It happens in fits and starts, through people who show up gently and consistently over time. You are part of that steady presence as you pray and stand with your son. That quiet, faithful love matters far more than you might realize right now.

If your son is open to talking, one tangible step could be simply letting him know you’re a safe person to bring whatever he thinks or feels, even the hard things, even doubts, without rushing to fix it or having to perform spiritually. Sometimes prayer for protection is answered through safe relationships that make silence speak and patiently restore trust. And if you sense a need for professional help in time, gently encouraging him toward a wise Christian counselor is not a failure of faith; it can be part of how God brings healing.

We don’t know what darkness has touched your son, but we do know Who holds him. So we pray with you now.

Father, in Jesus’ name we lift this beloved son to You. Surround him with Your hidden angels tonight. Expose whatever evil has hidden itself in the shadows and bring it into the light, where it loses its power. Fill him with a peace that makes no earthly sense, a deep-down, unshakable stillness, and with the quiet strength to take one step at a time. Guard his heart from turning hard, and let him not lose the gift of trust. Hold the one who prays this prayer in Your steady care as well, and let them rest their heart in Your faithful hands. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Heavenly Father please guide and protect this loved one. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

““But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭7‬ ‭NIV‬‬

The prayer for a hedge of protection and deliverance from every form of abuse ascends to the throne, and it is a cry that touches the heart of the Covenant-Keeping God. Whenever you feel that you have something to do that is beyond you, stop a moment and breathe a prayer for more strength. This is the poor man’s riches; this is the sick man’s medicine; this is the faint man’s cordial; this is the weak one’s strength.

There is a peace that is a present possession, gleaming with a heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You. That peace is not a mere absence of trouble; it is a deep, settled rest that comes from knowing the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, even when pressed by thronging duties and sorrows surging round. And what of those loved ones far away? In Jesus' keeping we are safe, and they. The Lord who has delivered us from the power of darkness can surely command His angels concerning your son, and no form of abuse shall have ultimate victory over him.

He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength. When there remains no strength in you, fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it. The Lord Himself says, "I will strengthen them." This deliverance came when the Lamb was slain. There is not one feeble person among His tribes when He brings them forth with health and strength. His resolve is to do His bidding, and feeling that we cannot achieve it in our own strength, we begin to pray, and our prayer is for faith. Only faith works such a wonder of patient love.

Expose the deeds of darkness, you pray, and bring them to light. This is the very work of Him who has delivered us from the depressing power of darkness and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Let us believe that God has given us all things in giving us His Son. Then shall your peace be as a river, and your strength restored right speedily. Oh, for a baptism into the Spirit of God! Wait upon the Lord, and you shall renew your strength. Bear this sorrow with Him, and see what peace, what perfect peace, you will enjoy.

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. Let this be the song of your son and of your household. The clock of mercy struck in Heaven the hour and moment of deliverance, for the time had come. He feels that if he ever rises from despondency, he can never dare to take an atom of honor to himself, it must be of Free Grace only. So teach him to trust, and as he waits upon the Lord, let him hold his peace before the Lord and learn wisdom. The Lord has chastened us with the rod of His love, but His purpose is always life and greater strength. Therefore, let us bless God for all His dealings and, in a filial spirit, confess, You, Lord, have chastened me. The deliverance will be effectual, and in every deed He will bring them forth.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray a hedge of protection around your son, and this is a holy and right desire. To protect the injured, to succor those despitefully used, to provide for the defenseless, this is the very work for which God ordained those who love Him. Do not imagine that such intercession is a small thing. You may think you have but one talent in this, only a mother’s prayer, and can do nothing more. Yet you are not poorer than that widow who gave all she had, nor more uninstructed than Peter and John, who were unlearned men. If you show forth zeal and do this for the common good of your household, you offer what is most pleasing to God. For nothing is so pleasing to Him as to live for the common advantage.

Yet understand this clearly: when you cry out for the deeds of darkness to be exposed and brought to light, you are praying a most powerful prayer. As long as any evil is carried on in the dark, it is carried on with greater security. But when it has many to witness what is done, when it is brought to light, its power begins to shatter. The light shineth in darkness, and the darkness cannot overpower it. So be you never backward to shine that light, in prayer and in deed, for the sake of your son.

Remember also who your son is by promise. When we put on Christ, we receive adoption as sons. Do not doubt this: Christ was born after the flesh that your son might be born after the Spirit. He was born of a woman that your son might cease to be merely the son of a woman and become a son of God. It is far more difficult for God to become man than for a man to be declared a son of God. If God abased Himself so greatly for this, it was only because He was minded to exalt us. Therefore, when you pray for your son’s deliverance, do not pray as one hoping against hope, but as one who knows the Father already claims him.

Pray then that your son will not only be delivered from the darkness, but will hasten to the light. For what pity can there be for one who, after the light has come, still prefers to sit in shadows? The curse cannot hold him, for Christ has redeemed him from that. The abuse cannot define him, for the Spirit of adoption is his true inheritance. Here is the supply of good that none but Christ could compass: deliverance from evil and promotion to sonship.

Let your life shine as well. Live a life of such brightness, such conversation, that the deadness is chased away. Scatter the darkness by attracting the Sun of Righteousness to your household. If there are many shining lights, the path of virtue will be easy for your son, and the darkness will be easily detected and put to flight. It is not the hands of any earthly power which will ultimately bring forth the fruit of safety, but the command from God. He is the cause of all things. So continue to entreat Him who gave grace and peace that these gifts may abide perpetual and unmoved, so that no other war may again be blown into flame. May this come to pass, that you and your son, having obtained what you seek, may do all to the glory of God, to whom be glory for ever and ever.
