We join our hearts with yours in fervent prayer for your son, lifting him before the throne of grace. Heavenly Father, we come before You with deep concern and trust, asking for Your mighty hand of protection to surround him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment shall be condemned, for this is his heritage as Your servant, and his righteousness is from You (Isaiah 54:17).
Lord, we specifically ask for Your hedge of protection around him, shielding him from every form of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual. We rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, and harm in the name of Jesus, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that any hidden deeds of darkness targeting him would be exposed and brought to light, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known (Luke 8:17). Let Your truth prevail, and let justice flow like a river.
Father, we ask that You surround him with Your holy angels, who are ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation (Hebrews 1:14). Let them guard him in all his ways, lifting him up in their hands lest he strike his foot against a stone (Psalm 91:11-12). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him with Your might, that he may stand firm against the schemes of the enemy, for our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you and your family as you navigate this season. May you be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and height and depth, and to know Christ’s love which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God (Ephesians 3:17-19). Let your home be a place of refuge, where the name of Jesus is exalted, and where the enemy has no foothold.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and declare that Your will shall be done in this situation. May Your name be glorified, and may Your kingdom come in every area of his life. In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Continue to cover your son in prayer, and trust that the Lord is working even when you cannot see it. If there are specific situations or individuals you suspect may be involved in harming him, we urge you to seek godly counsel and wisdom from your local church leadership, as they can provide support and guidance in accordance with Scripture. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
