We lift up this earnest prayer for your son, dear brother or sister in Christ, and join our hearts with yours in seeking the Lord’s mighty protection over him. The Scriptures assure us that God is a refuge and fortress, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare over your son the promise of Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Heavenly Father, we ask You to station Your holy angels around him, shielding him from every scheme of the enemy—whether physical harm, emotional manipulation, or spiritual deception.
We rebuke every spirit of abuse, fear, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ, for "the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). Lord, expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him, for "everything exposed by the light becomes visible" (Ephesians 5:13). Let no weapon formed against him prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that You would fill him with Your perfect peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and strengthen him with Your mighty power (Ephesians 6:10).
Father, we also ask that You would draw your son closer to You, that he may know Your love, Your truth, and Your ways. May he walk in the light as You are in the light (1 John 1:7), and may he be rooted and grounded in Your Word, which is a lamp to his feet and a light to his path (Psalm 119:105). Surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life, truth, and encouragement into his life. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let him grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
We stand on the authority of Jesus’ name, for there is power in the name of Jesus to break every chain (Acts 4:12). We declare that no evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness, for You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We trust in You, our Protector, our Deliverer, and our Strong Tower. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
