We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of concern and faith. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We stand on this promise, declaring Your divine protection over him—body, soul, and spirit. Lord, we ask that You would indeed place a hedge around him, shielding him from every form of harm, abuse, or oppression. Expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him, for You declare in Ephesians 5:11, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them."*
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, trauma, or manipulation that may have touched his life. Your Word tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, *"For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control."* Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might, as You promise in Ephesians 3:16, *"that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inner person."*
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who care for him—parents, guardians, teachers, and mentors. Guide them to recognize any signs of danger and to act in ways that align with Your will. Let Your light shine brightly in every area of his life, driving out darkness and bringing hope. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust in Your unfailing love to cover him.
Lord, if there are areas where he or those around him have strayed from Your truth, we ask for conviction and repentance. Draw him closer to You, that he may know Your love and walk in Your ways. Surround him with godly influences—friends, leaders, and role models who will encourage him in faith and righteousness. May he grow to be a man after Your own heart, strong in spirit and unwavering in his trust in You.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.
