We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of concern and faith. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over him, believing that You have indeed assigned Your angels to watch over him day and night.
Father, we ask for Your mighty hedge of protection to surround him completely. Shield him from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual. Let no weapon formed against him prosper, as You have declared in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the Lord’s servants, and their righteousness is of me." We stand on this truth, trusting that You will expose every hidden deed of darkness and bring it into the light. Your Word says in Ephesians 5:11, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray that any evil intent or harm aimed at him would be revealed and thwarted by Your power.
Lord, fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, as Philippians 4:7 promises, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Strengthen him with Your might, so that he may stand firm in the face of any adversity. Remind him daily of Your love and presence, for You have said in Deuteronomy 31:6, "Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or scared of them; for the Lord your God himself is who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you."
We also pray for his spiritual well-being, Father. Draw him closer to You, that he may grow in wisdom and understanding of Your Word. Let him find refuge in You, as it is written in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." May he always turn to You in times of need, knowing that You are his ever-present help.
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression that may try to take hold of him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus, who loves him (Romans 8:37). Let Your light shine brightly in his life, dispelling any darkness that may seek to overshadow him.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
