We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of concern and faith. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over this young man, asking that You dispatch Your heavenly hosts to encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm—physical, emotional, and spiritual.
Lord, we also stand on Ephesians 5:11, which commands, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray that any hidden schemes of the enemy against this son would be brought into the light. Expose those who would seek to harm him, whether through abuse, manipulation, or deceit. Let Your truth prevail, and let justice be served according to Your perfect will.
Father, we ask that You fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might (Ephesians 3:16). May he walk in the confidence of Your love and protection, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Guard his heart and mind, and let him grow in wisdom and discernment as he navigates life’s challenges.
We also pray for his spiritual well-being. If he does not yet know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we ask that You draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to the truth of Your Word and the saving grace found in Jesus Christ alone. May he come to understand that salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12) and that eternal life is a gift received by faith in Your Son (John 3:16).
Lord, we rebuke every spirit of fear, oppression, or trauma that may have taken root in his life. We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus and that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Strengthen his family and those who love him to be vigilant and prayerful on his behalf.
We commit this son into Your hands, trusting that You will keep him under the shadow of Your wings (Psalm 91:4). May he walk in Your favor and purpose all the days of his life. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
