We lift up your precious son before the throne of grace, standing in the gap with you as we declare God’s promises over his life. Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your unfailing love and protection, for You are a shield to those who take refuge in You (Psalm 18:30). We pray that You would indeed surround him with Your hedge of protection, a wall of fire that the enemy cannot penetrate (Zechariah 2:5). Lord, we ask that You would deliver him from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—because You are a God who hears the cries of the afflicted and rescues them from oppression (Psalm 10:17-18).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of darkness that seeks to harm or deceive him. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17). Expose every hidden deed of wickedness, Lord, for You are light, and in You there is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5). Bring every secret thing into the light so that justice may prevail and Your name may be glorified.
We ask that You dispatch Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). Let Your angels be a wall of defense, a barrier between him and any harm or danger. Strengthen him with Your might, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May he walk in the confidence of Your protection, knowing that You are his fortress and deliverer.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for him, Father. Equip him with the knowledge of Your Word so that he may recognize the schemes of the enemy and stand firm in the truth (Ephesians 6:11). Surround him with godly influences—mentors, friends, and leaders who will speak life into him and encourage him in his walk with You. Let him grow in the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and may his heart be steadfast, trusting in You alone.
Lord, if there are any areas where he has been wounded or scarred by past abuse, we ask that You would heal those places with Your balm of Gilead (Jeremiah 8:22). Restore his soul, renew his mind, and fill him with Your joy and hope. Let him know that he is fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14), and that his worth is found in You alone.
We also lift up his parents and caregivers to You, Father. Give them wisdom, patience, and strength as they guide and protect him. May they be examples of Your love and grace, pointing him to You in all things. Help them to create a home that is a sanctuary of peace, where Your presence dwells and Your Word is honored.
Father, we declare that Your will be done in his life, and that he will grow into a man of God who walks in righteousness and truth. May he be a light in this dark world, reflecting Your love and glory to everyone he encounters. We trust in Your faithfulness, Lord, and we commit his life into Your hands, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
