We join with you in lifting up your son before the Lord, standing in agreement for his protection and deliverance from every form of harm. It is clear your heart is deeply burdened for his well-being, and we commend you for seeking the Lord’s covering over him. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of wickedness, and so we must arm ourselves with prayer, faith, and the Word of God.
The Lord is faithful to be a shield and a strong tower for those who trust in Him. As it is written in Psalm 91:11-12, *"For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone."* We declare this promise over your son, asking the Lord to dispatch His heavenly hosts to surround him, to guard his steps, and to thwart every plan of the enemy against his life. The Lord sees what is hidden in darkness, and nothing escapes His gaze. As Ephesians 5:11-13 declares, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them... But all things, when they are reproved, are revealed by the light, for everything that reveals is light."* We pray that any hidden schemes of abuse—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—will be exposed by the light of Christ. May the Lord bring to justice those who seek to harm him, and may He break every chain of bondage that the enemy has tried to place upon him.
We also pray for your son’s heart and mind to be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding. May he be rooted and grounded in the truth of Scripture, so that he walks in wisdom and discernment. If there are areas in his life where he has opened doors to the enemy—whether through ungodly influences, rebellion, or sin—we ask the Lord to convict him and lead him to repentance. Let him turn wholly to Jesus, who alone can break the power of sin and darkness in his life.
Father, we ask that You would place godly mentors, teachers, and friends in his path—those who will speak life and truth into him and encourage him to walk in Your ways. Surround him with Your favor as with a shield, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him, and that no scheme of the enemy will prevail against him.
Finally, we lift you up as well, dear parent, for the burden you carry is heavy. May the Lord strengthen you with His might in your inner being, filling you with His peace and assurance that He hears your prayers. Do not grow weary in praying for your son, for the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person avails much. Trust that the Lord is working, even when you cannot see it, and that He will complete the good work He has begun in your son’s life.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
