We lift up this precious son to You, Heavenly Father, with hearts full of concern and faith. We stand in agreement with this prayer for Your divine protection to surround him like a mighty fortress. Lord, You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You would indeed place a hedge of protection around him, as You did for Job, so that the enemy cannot touch him without Your permission (Job 1:10). Deliver him from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—and let no harm come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We pray that You would expose every deed of darkness in his life, for nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor secret that will not be known (Luke 8:17). Bring every hidden thing to light, Lord, so that justice may prevail and healing may begin.
We thank You for dispatching Your holy angels to guard and keep him in all his ways (Psalm 91:11). May they encamp around him, shielding him from danger and guiding him in Your truth. Lord, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. If he does not yet know You as his personal Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:4). Let him come to the knowledge of the truth, that he may be saved and set free (1 Timothy 2:4).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, or oppression that may be trying to take root in his life. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him with Your might, Lord, so that he may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for those who are in authority over him—parents, teachers, mentors, and spiritual leaders. Give them the insight to recognize any signs of trouble and the courage to act in his best interest. May they be instruments of Your love, grace, and protection in his life.
Lord, we trust in Your unfailing love and Your promise to never leave nor forsake him (Deuteronomy 31:6). We commit his life into Your hands, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May he grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with You and with man, just as Jesus did (Luke 2:52).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
