We lift up this precious son before the throne of grace, standing in the gap with fervent intercession. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of this child, fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. Your Word declares in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." We claim this promise over this young life, asking You to station Your heavenly host around him as a wall of fire.
Lord, we specifically rebuke every spirit of abuse—physical, emotional, or spiritual—that would seek to harm this child. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We break every assignment of darkness in Jesus' mighty name and command every hidden work of evil to be exposed by Your light. Ephesians 5:11 tells us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." We pray for divine revelation to come to those in authority who can intervene and protect.
Father, we ask You to heal any wounds that may already exist in this young heart. Pour out Your comfort as only You can, binding up the brokenhearted and setting the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will speak life and truth into his spirit. May he grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
We declare that no weapon formed against this child shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned. You are his refuge and fortress, his God in whom he trusts (Psalm 91:2). Strengthen his parents and caregivers with supernatural wisdom and courage to fulfill their protective role.
Most of all, we pray that this young life would come to know You personally as Savior and Lord. Draw him with Your cords of love and reveal Your Son Jesus Christ to his heart. May he grow up to serve You all the days of his life, walking in the purpose and destiny You have prepared for him.
In the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above every name, we pray. Amen.
