We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround him with His divine protection. The Scriptures assure us that "He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone" (Psalm 91:11-12). We stand on this promise, declaring that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask You to expose every hidden work of darkness that seeks to harm him—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Your Word tells us, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them" (Ephesians 5:11). We pray that You would bring these things into the light, that justice and truth may prevail. Let no evil go unnoticed, and let Your righteousness be his shield.
We also rebuke any spirit of fear, trauma, or oppression that may be trying to take root in his life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that he may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that your son is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
Lord, we ask that You would send Your holy angels to encamp around him, to guard his steps, and to keep him from all harm. Let him walk in the confidence of Your protection, knowing that "the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in every moment of his life.
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you as his parent. Guide your steps as you seek to protect and nurture him in the ways of the Lord. May your home be a place of peace, love, and godly instruction, where he can grow in wisdom and stature before You.
Finally, we pray that your son would come to know You intimately, if he does not already. Let him experience the love of Christ in a personal way, and may he grow to be a man after Your own heart. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
