We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in prayer during this time of deep distress. The burdens you carry—your son’s lack of focus in his studies, the struggles in your family, and the despair over your business—are overwhelming, but we must remember that our hope is not in circumstances but in Christ alone. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* You are not forgotten, and God sees your pain.

First, we must address the darkness creeping into your thoughts—the desire to end your life. This is a lie from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (**John 10:10**). Your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you, even in this season of struggle. **Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB)** declares, *"For I know the plans that I have for you,’ says Yahweh, ‘plans of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* Suicide is not the answer; it is a permanent solution to temporary problems, and it grieves the heart of God. Instead, we urge you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (**1 Peter 5:7**). If you are in immediate danger, reach out to a trusted believer or pastor for support—you do not have to walk this path alone.

Now, let us speak to the struggles with your son. It is heartbreaking when our children do not walk in the way they should, but we must remember that we are called to train them up in the Lord, even when they resist. **Proverbs 22:6 (WEB)** says, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* This is not a guarantee of immediate obedience but a promise that godly instruction will bear fruit in time. We encourage you to persist in prayer for your son, asking God to soften his heart and give him a hunger for wisdom. At the same time, examine your own heart—are you modeling patience, faith, and diligence before him? Sometimes our children reflect the anxieties or frustrations we carry. Trust God to work in your son’s life, even when you cannot see the progress.

As for your business, we know how crushing it can be when labor does not yield fruit. But we must remember that our provision comes from the Lord, not from our own efforts alone. **Psalm 127:1-2 (WEB)** tells us, *"Unless Yahweh builds the house, they who build it labor in vain. Unless Yahweh watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones."* Have you surrendered your business to God, seeking His wisdom and direction? It may be time to fast and pray, asking the Lord to reveal His will—whether that means persevering, changing strategies, or trusting Him in a new season. Do not lean on your own understanding, but acknowledge Him in all your ways (**Proverbs 3:5-6**).

We also notice that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we are saved (**Acts 4:12**), and it is only through Jesus that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (**Romans 10:9**). Without Christ, there is no true hope or peace. But in Him, you will find strength for every trial.

Lastly, we must address the anger and frustration you feel toward your family. **Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB)** warns us, *"Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil."* Unresolved anger opens the door to bitterness and strife, which only deepens the pain. Ask God to replace your frustration with His peace and to help you respond in love, even when it is difficult. Remember, *"Love is patient and is kind... It doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, doesn’t seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil"* (**1 Corinthians 13:4-5**). Your family needs your prayers, not your resentment.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this your child before You, knowing that You are a God who sees and hears the cries of Your people. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (**Philippians 4:7**). Break the chains of despair and hopelessness that have bound them, and fill them with the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**).

We pray for their son, that You would open his eyes to the value of wisdom and diligence. Softening his heart, Lord, and give him a teachable spirit. Remove any distractions or influences that are hindering his growth, and help him to walk in the path You have set before him. Give this parent patience, wisdom, and grace as they guide him, and let their home be filled with Your love and truth.

Father, we ask for Your provision and direction over their business. If there are areas where they have not sought Your will, convict them and lead them into Your perfect plan. Open doors that no man can shut (**Revelation 3:8**) and provide creative solutions where there seems to be no way. Help them to trust You fully, knowing that You are their Provider (**Matthew 6:33**).

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair that has sought to take hold of this person’s mind. We declare that their life is hidden in Christ (**Colossians 3:3**) and that the enemy has no authority over them. Fill them with Your hope and remind them that You have not abandoned them. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.

We also ask for healing in their family relationships. Replace anger with love, frustration with patience, and bitterness with forgiveness. Help them to extend grace, just as You have extended grace to them. Unify their home under Your lordship, and let Your peace reign in their hearts.

Finally, Father, we pray that if this person has not yet surrendered their life to Jesus Christ, that today would be the day of salvation. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and draw them into Your loving arms. Let them know the joy of being Your child and the confidence of eternal life in Christ.

We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Stand firm in faith, dear one. God has not forgotten you, and He is at work, even when you cannot see it. Keep praying, keep trusting, and do not lose heart. *"Let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (**Galatians 6:9**). We are praying for you.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the sacred opportunity to lift you and your family before the Lord in prayer these past few days. The burden you carry for your children weighs heavy on your heart, and we have been interceding with you, asking God to bring renewal, purpose, and hope into your home. The struggles with your son’s lack of focus in his studies and the challenges in your business are not unseen by our Heavenly Father—He knows the depth of your weariness and the desperation you feel.

We have been praying specifically for God to ignite a passion in your son’s heart for learning and diligence, and for Him to open doors of opportunity and wisdom in your business. We have also asked the Lord to surround you with His peace, reminding you that even in this season of waiting, He is working all things together for your good. Your role as a parent is a high calling, and we know how deeply it hurts when your children stray from the path you long for them to walk. But take heart—God is not finished with your family. His timing is perfect, and His love for your children is even greater than your own.

If you have seen even the smallest glimmer of hope—whether in your son’s attitude, your business, or your own spirit—we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Sometimes God answers in ways we don’t immediately recognize, and your testimony could encourage others who are walking a similar path. If the weight of this trial still feels overwhelming and unchanged, please don’t hesitate to post your request again. We are here to continue standing with you, to lift you up when your strength is gone, and to remind you that you are not alone in this fight.

Let us also encourage you to cling to the promise in Jeremiah 29:11, that God has plans for you and your family—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. Keep seeking Him, even in the darkness, for He is your light and your salvation. We are believing with you for breakthrough, for restoration, and for a testimony of God’s faithfulness to share with others.

May the Lord bless you with His comfort, renew your strength, and fill your home with His peace as you trust in Him. We continue to pray for you in Jesus’ name.
