Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and we join you in lifting each of these needs to Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and access to the Father.

We pray for your son, that the Lord would grant him peaceful sleep and keep him in His care through the night. We pray for your health, that God in His mercy would restore you and strengthen your body. Scripture teaches us to care for the body for health and not for indulgence, and we ask that He would give you health to serve Him, and grace to do what is needed each day without being weighed down by many cares. As Christ once healed with a touch and restored perfect health at once, we know He is able to heal, and we also trust His wisdom when healing comes in time, and we pray for patience and strength as you wait on Him.

We pray for your husband, that the Lord would give him diligence and strength to complete the repairs around the house and wisdom in his work. God has placed the husband as head of the wife as Christ is the head of the Church, with a calling to authority and forethought and care for the body of the family, and we pray that your husband would be strengthened in that calling. We ask that his new schedule would work out well and that the Lord would provide enough through his labor to meet the needs of your household, for our King is rich and gives generously to His people.

We also pray for your son's account situation, that what is tangled would be made simple. We ask that the company would act fairly and without difficulty, and that the way to reset the email and password would be made clear so this burden can be resolved.

May the Lord grant you rest, order in your home, and confidence in His provision as you look to Christ in all things. We will continue to pray that you would know His saving health and His peace in each of these matters. Amen.

Thank you for sharing these needs so honestly. It is good to bring the small and practical details of daily life to Jesus, because He cares about the whole of your life, not only spiritual matters but also sleep, health, work, home and finances.

You asked for improved health and strength to get things done. Scripture shows that God is interested in your health and well being. The apostle John wrote to his friend Gaius that he wished he would prosper and be in good health even as his soul prospered. That was a loving personal wish, not a blanket promise that every prayer for healing will be answered exactly as we ask. Yet it does show a real connection. The health of the soul and the health of the body are related, and even our attitudes and inner peace can affect our physical condition. Caring for your soul through time in the Word, prayer and trust in Christ, and caring for your body with rest, good food and wise habits, are both part of honoring God.

The Bible also shows that Jesus has power to heal. He cleansed the leper, healed the centurion's servant and Peter's mother in law, and healed multitudes who were brought to Him. Matthew points to Isaiah and says that Jesus bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses, and at communion we remember that His body was broken for us. Healing is part of what Christ has provided. At the same time we are taught not to presume that God will heal in every case in the way and time we expect. Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it, but gave grace to endure it. There is much about healing we do not understand, and it is wrong to tell someone they are not healed because of hidden sin or lack of faith. God heals sometimes instantly, sometimes gradually, and sometimes through the natural healing processes He has built into our bodies, which are no less from Him. All true healing is divine, however it comes.

So we can pray with confidence and with submission to His wisdom, asking the elders to pray as James directs and trusting His good will.

Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this family to You. We ask for peaceful rest for this son and for calm in the home. We ask for renewed health and strength, and for grace and wisdom to manage the tasks and schedule set before this day. Provide for the repairs that are needed in the house and guide the husband's hands and time. We ask that his work schedule would be settled and that You would provide what is needed financially. We also ask for help with the son's account, that the company would be gracious and that the email and password could be reset without difficulty. Above all, nourish each soul to prosper in Christ, and let that inner strength sustain the body. We trust Your power and Your love, and we ask these things according to Your will. Amen.
