Jesus please let my son be less complaining and more helpful and please learn to reciprocate when we or other people do nice things for him. Please also let my husband give me the money we need to pay the rest of the rent and please let my mother in law realize she has to try harder she can't just sleep all the time and let her neighbor and her get along again, and be willing to check on her still. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you together in prayer before our Father in Jesus' name and we lift up each of these burdens you have shared with Him.

We first bring your son before the Lord. We understand how heavy it can feel when a child complains often and does not show gratitude or helpfulness. Scripture calls children to honor and obey, and it calls all of us to a spirit of thankfulness. Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother Ephesians 6:1-2. And we are told to Do all things without complaining and arguing Philippians 2:14, and In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus toward you 1 Thessalonians 5:18. We pray that God will soften his heart to see the kindness shown to him and to learn to reciprocate with gratitude and service. We pray for you as his parent to have wisdom and patience to teach him gently and consistently, modeling thankfulness and requiring helpfulness not out of anger but out of love that trains him in righteousness.

We also lift up your husband and the financial need for the rest of the rent. Marriage is a holy covenant where husband and wife are one flesh and called to bear one another's burdens with love and provision. We pray that God will provide for all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that He will give your husband a willing and loving heart to provide for his household, for If anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith 1 Timothy 5:8. We pray also for unity between you and your husband, that you may seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness and trust that all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33, and that you can speak to one another with respect and grace about the finances, praying together rather than contending.

We bring your own health before the Lord as well. We do not know all the details of what you are facing, but He does. We pray for your strength and healing and rest, for He has promised I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds Jeremiah 30:17. Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. We pray that God will renew your body and your spirit and give you peace as you cast your cares upon Him.

We also pray for your mother-in-law and her neighbor. We hear your concern that she sleeps much of the time and that there is strain in that neighbor relationship. We want to encourage you with compassion here, for excessive sleep can often be a sign of age, illness, loneliness, or heaviness of spirit, and she may need medical care and gentle encouragement more than reproach. We pray that God will give her strength and purpose for each day and that you and your family can honor her with love. Honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12. We pray that the Lord will restore peace between her and her neighbor, for If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18, and that He will move the neighbor’s heart to be willing to check on her again with kindness. Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other Colossians 3:13, that reconciliation may be made and community restored.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You for this wife, mother, and daughter-in-law who has brought her family before You. We ask in Jesus' name that You work in her son to turn complaining into thanksgiving and to make him helpful and considerate, that You provide the money needed for the rent and knit her and her husband together in unity and faithful stewardship, that You touch her body and bring health and rest, and that You awaken and strengthen her mother-in-law and heal the breach with her neighbor, restoring fellowship and care. Let Your will be done in each of these lives and let Your peace rule in this home. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

We hear how heavy this feels with so many people and needs on your heart at once, your son, your husband and the rent, your own health, and your mother-in-law and her neighbor. It is a lot to carry and we are praying with you.

We especially hear your longing for your son to be more thankful and helpful. That desire for him to notice kindness and return it is good. One thing that sometimes helps in family life is remembering that each of us can only take responsibility for what is ours to own, our own choices, words, and actions, while loving others without trying to control them. It can bring a little more peace to be clear and kind about what you will do and what you are asking others to do, and to let them own their part.

When you have a calm moment, it may help to pick just one small, clear hope to talk through with your son, one specific way he can help this week and what it means to you when he says thank you, and separately set aside a quiet time with your husband to look at the rent together so you are facing the numbers as a team. For your own health and your mother-in-law's constant sleepiness, we encourage you to keep your doctor in the loop alongside prayer, just to make sure nothing is being missed.

Father, we lift this family to You. Provide for the rent according to Your wisdom, give this mom strength and health, soften hearts between mother-in-law and neighbor and help them care for one another again, and guide her son to grow in gratitude and helpfulness. Give her wisdom and rest as she loves them all. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Slow and patient wins the race. Sobriety was a major shift in my life. After I decided within myself that I absolutely wanted a wife so badly I started working to become sober. Like shedding afdixtions off me. I believed in a higher power. Maybe that was enough at the time. I wasnt Christian but I believed in a higher power. In God. In the Lord Yeshua. Angels. And we'll everything else to be honest. Above everything I wanted to be married. So I took sobriety from alcahol. Tobacco. And narcotics. And started my chastity work in 2017. After my chastity from porn and alcahol and narcotics I came down with a case of night terrors which would last several years. Lucky me I got out of resturaunt business and into a new job after Father God gave me the 3 bags of bread dreams. May we live to praise and glorify God only. And live to pray and worship God. Lord Yeshuas name. Thank you God for helping me get married. I have work and food and I have chastity and sobriety. Only thing I need the most is prayer praise and worship of Father God and Lord Yeshua and to continue with my meal planning. Work. Amd personal chores. We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing these burdens before the Lord who pities His people as a father pities his children.

We pray first for your son, that the Lord would work in him a heart of true gratitude. Scripture shows us that to be ungrateful is to be placed even below the beasts, for even the lower creatures show thankfulness to those who care for them. Fervent gratitude runs with winged feet wherever Jesus calls, and it proves itself not in mere words but in tangible deeds. Peter's wife's mother, when she was healed, rose and ministered, and in that serving she proved her thankfulness. May the Lord teach your son likewise, to take note of the mercies he has received and to return kindness with kindness, to be less given to complaining and more ready to serve you and others for Christ's sake.

We pray for your health, and for your household in its need. Sickness sometimes comes not as an enemy but as a friend, by which Christ makes His power and His love known in a family. One believing voice in a home may bring great blessing upon it, and when two agree together concerning the kingdom, the Lord hears. We ask the Great Physician to lay His healing hand upon you and to restore you, and to be your strength in this trial.

We pray for your husband and for the provision of your rent. The Lord knows your need and He is able to keep you from falling and to supply what is required. We ask Him to provide for you and to stir your husband to fulfill his calling with diligence and love within the covenant of marriage, that your home may know His peace and provision.

We pray also for your mother in law and for her neighbor. We ask the Lord to awaken in her a renewed desire to be useful in her place, to cast off sloth and to serve Christ first and then His people by humble acts of love. Where there has been distance or strife with her neighbor, we pray for grace to be reconciled and for a willingness again to watch over one another and to live at peace.

May the Lord teach you all to abound in gratitude for mercies possessed, not to overlook the blessings you do have, but to offer Him songs of praise even in affliction, trusting that He is working all for good. We commend you to Him who is able to keep you, to heal you, to provide for you and to make your home a place where Christ is served and honored.
