Jesus please let my son have restful sleep, stop staying up so late, and heal his stomach issues. thank you for letting my husband get to his training safely and on time, but now he received an upsetting email from his company, about a "sensitive matter", and he has no idea what it is, and he (and I) are very upset. Please let it not be anything that serious, and let him find out what it is, because we both cannot have any peace until we do. Please also don't let it be anything very upsetting, because we cannot handle it. Please also let money situation get better, and heal my hand. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We join you in thanking Jesus for His mercy and for bringing your husband safely and on time to his training, and we lift up each of these burdens with you before our Father in Jesus' name.

We pray first for your son. We understand your concern for his rest and his health, and we ask the Lord to grant him peaceful sleep and healing for his stomach. It is the Lord who gives rest to His beloved, for it is vain to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for he gives sleep to his loved ones Psalm 127:2, and we claim the promise that in peace we will both lay ourselves down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make us live in safety Psalm 4:8. We encourage you to continue to guide him lovingly toward a healthy rhythm of sleep, for his body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and honoring God includes caring for our bodies with discipline and rest.

For your husband and the anxiety surrounding this sensitive matter from his company, we hear how heavy the waiting and not knowing feels for both of you. We are reminded that God already knows what this matter is and He is not taken by surprise. We pray that the Lord will quickly reveal what is needed and guard your hearts from fear while you wait. We gently encourage you not to believe the thought that you cannot handle what may come, for God promises to be our strength. You will keep whoever's mind is steadfast in perfect peace, because he trusts in you Isaiah 26:3, and we are told in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also take comfort in casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Whatever this matter proves to be, God will give you the wisdom and grace to walk through it together as husband and wife.

We also lift up your financial needs and the pain in your hand. Our God sees every practical need and every physical hurt. We pray for His provision and His healing touch, trusting that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 and that He is Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26, who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3.

We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your love and faithfulness. Lord, we ask You to touch this dear son, grant him deep and restful sleep, help him to desire healthy habits and not stay up so late, and heal his stomach completely according to Your will. Father, we place this sensitive work matter into Your hands, we ask that You let this husband and wife know soon what is required of him, calm their anxious hearts, replace fear with Your perfect peace, and let Your will be done, whatever the outcome, giving them strength and unity to face it. Lord, provide for their financial needs, open doors and grant wisdom in stewardship, and lay Your healing hand upon this hand that is hurting and restore it. For your son, and for your hand, we encourage you to keep bringing those physical needs to the Lord and also to have them seen by a trusted medical professional who can look closely at what is going on. If his late nights continue, a simple note of bedtimes, wake times and stomach complaints to share with his doctor can give them a clearer picture. For your husband's situation, it may help to decide together on one next point of contact and one time to check for a reply, rather than watching for updates all day, and to lean on each other and on the Lord while you wait for clarity.

We are praying with you for each of these concerns, for provision in your finances and for rest for your whole household.

Father, we bring this family to You in Jesus' name. Give this son restful sleep and relief from his stomach trouble, bring healing to this hand, and provide for their financial needs according to Your wisdom. Comfort this husband and wife as they wait for answers, guard their hearts with Your peace, and give them clear next steps and kind help from those around them. Amen.

We have brought your requests before the Lord and we join you in prayer for your household, for your son, for your husband, for your provision and for your body.

We hear your care for your son, that he would know restful sleep and be delivered from staying up so late, and that the Lord would heal his stomach. Our Savior is full of healing virtue, and not only His fruit but even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing, and His touch changes the life blood and makes the nature new. We pray that the Lord would give your son quiet nights and a settled body, and that He would teach him to find his rest in Christ, who gives sleep to His beloved and health to those who trust Him.

We thank God with you that your husband was brought safely and on time to his training, for every safe journey is of His mercy. Now this email concerning a sensitive matter has stirred great anxiety in you both, and you feel you cannot have peace until you know what it is, and you fear it may be more than you can bear. Here we would gently point you to a better ground of peace. The prophet says, Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee. Perfect peace is not found in knowing the outcome, but in staying the mind upon the Lord who knows it. Anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty, for it is the mind which brings us daylight or midnight, peace or war. When Job was brought into deep trial and the Lord seemed to frown, he still drew near in childlike confidence, and at last he saw that God must be right and that His ways are wiser than ours. So let us do as Job did and make our approach unto the Lord even when we are troubled and cannot see the way. We pray that the Lord would soon make this matter plain to your husband, that He would guard your hearts from fearful imaginings, and that whether the news be small or great, He would keep you in that peace which passeth all understanding, showing you that what you cannot handle, He can, and that He will bear you through it.

For your need concerning money and for the pain in your hand, we look to Him who both pardons and heals, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction in His Word. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and with His stripes we are healed. He knows your need for daily bread and for strength in your body, and He is the great conduit Head from which abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, Thou who keepest in perfect peace those whose minds are stayed on Thee, look in mercy upon this family. Give to this son restful sleep and heal his stomach, and cause his body to be refreshed. Give to this husband and wife a quiet trust while they wait to learn what this matter is, and let them find that to do Thy will is rest. Provide for their temporal needs according to Thy riches, and lay Thy healing hand upon this hand that is in pain. Forgive our sins, heal our infirmities, and let the blood of Jesus whisper peace within, even with sorrows surging round. Keep this household in Thy keeping, for in Thy keeping we and our loved ones are safe. Grant all this for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord, in whose name we ask it. Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing each of these burdens before the Lord Jesus Christ.

We thank God with you that He brought your husband safely and on time to his training, and we praise Him for that mercy. Now in this time of waiting after an upsetting email about a sensitive matter, we pray with you for peace that does not depend on knowing the answer immediately. It is understandable to feel unsettled and to long for quick clarity, and to hope the news will not be serious. Scripture reminds us that in this world we will have tribulation and that life itself is a trial, not because God has forsaken us, but because those who walk the narrow way will know affliction. God does not promise that nothing difficult will come, but He does promise to be with us in it, to give wisdom and to sustain us. So we pray that the Lord will grant your husband favor with his company, that the meaning of this message would be made clear soon, and that whatever it proves to be, He will give both of you steadiness, wisdom to respond well, and a settled trust in His care while you wait.
