Son, healing

[Chrysostom]

We join you in bringing your son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for sharing this burden with us.

We give thanks with you for the Lord's blessings and for His mercy that hears our prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord, for there is no other name by which we come to the Father. We ask Him to surround your son with His healing presence, to lay His hand upon his body and remove every harmful effect of his medication, to strengthen his lungs and to calm his anxiety so that his breathing may be eased.

We pray also for the medical team caring for him, that God would grant them wisdom and discernment in all they do, and guide every decision for his good. As physicians apply their skill, we trust that the Lord Himself is the true healer who works through their hands to restore health.

May the Lord grant you peace as you wait upon Him, knowing that He is faithful and that He hears the prayers offered in the name of His Son. We will continue to pray for your son's complete recovery and for strength for you and your family in these days.

Heavenly Father, we ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior, Amen.

[Sparklee]

Praying in agreement with you for your son's healing, protection, deliverance from evil (Matthew 6:13,2Thessalonians 3:2-3) peace, comfort thru the keen awareness of Lord's Presence, all ###'s medical, physical, emotional, spiritual needs be met powerfully, mountains move, undeniable miracles be seen in Jesus Name Amen. God bless you

[Silas]

Thank you for sharing your heart and your prayer for your son. We join you in bringing him before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, His Son.

The Gospels show us that healing was at the center of the ministry of Jesus along with His preaching and teaching. He healed all kinds of sickness and disease among the people, and in doing so He was doing the works of His Father. As Jesus Himself said, the Son can do nothing on His own, but only what He sees the Father doing. His works are the works of God, and the Father has given all authority to the Son so that all may honor Him.

We see this authority in the account of the nobleman who came to Jesus when Jesus was in Galilee. His son was sick some distance away, and Jesus simply spoke the word and God by His Spirit healed the boy from afar. That same Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, declared to be the Son of God with power by His resurrection, the One whom the Father affirmed saying this is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. To believe in Him is to have life in His name, and we can trust Him for physical healing as well as spiritual healing, for He has power over the physical realm and over every infirmity.

We pray with you that the Lord would touch your son's body, remove every harmful effect of the medication, strengthen his lungs and ease his breathing, and calm his anxiety with His peace. We ask that God would work both in any immediate touch of His hand and through the healing processes He has built into the body itself, for every true healing is from Him, whether it comes in a moment or gradually.

We also pray that God would give divine wisdom and discernment to the medical team caring for him. Scripture tells us that God is the giver of wisdom, and we ask Him to guide every decision they make and every treatment they provide.

We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are healed over time, but we do believe strongly that Jesus still heals and that He hears the prayers of those who call on Him in faith. May the Lord surround your son with His presence, comfort you as you wait on Him, and deepen your trust in Jesus His Son who came to redeem us from sin and to give us life.

Father, we lift this son to You. Lay Your healing hand upon him, cleanse his body from these side effects, restore his lungs, quiet his heart and steady his breath. Grant wisdom to those who treat him, and let Your healing power be seen in his life. We ask this in the name of Jesus, the Son of God, Amen.
