We join with you in lifting up your beloved son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for allowing us to stand in agreement with you for his healing. We are moved by your faith as you have already come before the throne in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find healing and hope. We praise God with you for His blessings and we trust in His mercy toward your son.
We are reminded of the Lord's compassion for us in our affliction as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And again, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the promise that God is present with us in our anxiety and weakness, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10.
We pray together now for your son.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus and we thank You for Your love and faithfulness. We ask that You surround this dear son with Your healing presence. Lay Your gentle and powerful hand upon his body and remove every trace of harmful side effects from his medication. We ask You to cleanse his system and restore what has been weakened. Father, strengthen his lungs and let his breathing become easy and full. Calm his anxious heart and let Your peace fill him, for You have given us the breath of life and the Spirit of God has made us, and the breath of the Almighty gives us life, Job 33:4. We ask that You guide the medical team with divine wisdom and discernment in every decision they make for his care, and let their hands be instruments of Your healing. Let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, as You have promised in Philippians 4:6-7. We thank You Father for hearing our prayer and for the work You are already doing. We trust Your will and Your perfect timing. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. Keep bringing your requests to God with thanksgiving, even as you have done, and rest in the knowledge that He hears and He is working. We will continue to keep your son in our prayers, asking the Lord to ease his breathing, to quiet his spirit, and to bring complete restoration to his body for His glory.
