Son, healing

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, calling upon the Great Physician, Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases. Your prayer is heard, and we stand in agreement with you, believing in the power of God to heal and restore.

Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, knowing that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over your son, Lord. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon him, soothing the inflammation in his esophagus, healing the damaged lining, and regulating the acid in his stomach. May Your healing power flow through every cell, bringing restoration and wholeness.

We also pray for his lungs and respiratory system, Lord. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We trust in Your healing touch to remove all blockages, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely. May he breathe deeply and without pain, experiencing the fullness of life that You intend for him.

Father, we ask that You guide his doctors and medical team, giving them wisdom, discernment, and skill. Bless the treatments and medications prescribed, that they may work effectively according to Your will. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, your son is healed, as it is written in Isaiah 53:5, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in the mighty name of Jesus. We speak life and health over your son, declaring that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Your works are wonderful, as Psalm 139:14 tells us.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your love and mercy, and for the assurance that You hear our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). Strengthen your son’s faith and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We read your prayer for your son and are moved by your tender love and steady trust in God. You’ve named the physical details with precision, his esophagus, the acid, his lungs and airways, and your words show a mom who is both attentive to what doctors report and wholly dependent on the Lord to bring healing. We’re glad you reached out so we can stand with you.

When someone we love is suffering and the path forward involves ongoing treatment, it can feel heavy. We want you to know that your open-hearted prayer is heard. You are not alone in this waiting and asking. Sometimes the most practical step is letting a few trusted friends or church members carry this with you, perhaps by visiting your son, praying with him, or simply checking in so you have moments to breathe. Shared prayer often steadies the heart when our own strength runs low. You might also gently encourage your son to let someone else pray with him when he’s up to it; knowing others are present can lift the isolation illness often brings.

We pray with you now.

Father, we bring this son before You with gratitude for his mother’s love and for Your promise to draw near to the brokenhearted. Please soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, heal its eroded lining, and bring balance to the acids in his stomach so that he finds relief. For his lungs and airways, we ask You to clear any obstruction, mend damage from infection, and open his breathing fully, free of pain and strain. Grant his doctors insight, steady hands, and wise treatment decisions. Sustain him through each day, and give his mother Your peace that guards her heart. We trust Your power to restore, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen
"May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace." Numbers 6:24-26

How often the cries of a parent’s heart ascend before the Throne, and well it is that they fly straight to the ear of our merciful God! Your prayer for your dear son carries all the weight of a soul pressed to the very brink, and such petitions, born of anguish and lifted in the name of Jesus, have a special swift passage into the courts of heaven. I rejoiced to read that you came boldly, pleading the precious name which is above every name, for it is in that name alone that healing and salvation are found.

Let me remind you that the Good Physician who once walked among men still lives to heal. His power is not diminished, nor has His tender sympathy waned. The same hands that gently touched the sick of the palsy now uphold the universe, and He has a peculiar delight in binding up the broken in body and spirit. I have often observed that those who are brought very low by affliction find Christ to be most precious. When the lungs labour and the frame is wasted, the soul learns to lean upon the Beloved in a way it never did in days of ease. It is in the furnace that we see the Form of the Fourth most clearly.

Your prayer has left off all reliance on mere human skill, though you wisely ask guidance for the physicians. That is as it should be; we use remedies, but we look beyond them. The leaves of the tree of life are for healing, and the least thing about our Lord has virtue to drive out disease. Perhaps your son lies long upon his bed, and you have been tempted to think the heavens are brass. Do not let the enemy whisper that prayer is vain. I have known prayers that seemed to stagger with weakness, prayers without logical ordering, prayers that amounted to mere groans, yet God heard them. A true prayer from one near the gates of death is a prevailing prayer. He hears the sigh of a heart that has reached its wit's end.

Cling also to this sweet conjunction: with Christ, forgiveness and healing often walk hand in hand. He said to the paralysed man, "Son, your sins are forgiven you," and then, "Arise, take up your bed." The same voice that speaks pardon to the guilt-stricken soul can command the enfeebled body into soundness. I urge you, therefore, to look first to the Lamb of God who takes away sin, and in that very look His healing wing will spread over you all. Let your faith say, "He bore our sicknesses; He carried our sorrows," for by His stripes we are healed.

Yet be prepared to meet the will of the Lord with submission. Jacob’s prayer was answered, but not in the manner he expected; and sometimes the Great Physician’s answer is not immediate restoration, but grace to endure, or a deeper work in the hidden man of the heart. Nevertheless, press the suit with holy arguments; tell Him of His promises, recount His former mercies, and remind Him of the glory that will come to His name when your son rises from his bed a living trophy. The mercy seat still stands, and the High Priest ever intercedes. Do not forsake the place of prayer, nor cease to cry in the daytime and in the night watch. Mighty prayer, sustained by the Spirit, will yet prevail. So I bid you, go again to the mercy seat, and expect that He who inclined His ear to Hezekiah on the brink of destruction will attend to your cry and send forth healing from on high. God bless you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have done well to bring your son before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for He is the true Physician of both body and soul. Consider how Christ, when two blind men cried out to Him, did not brush them aside but asked, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” They called Him Son of David, and He led them higher, teaching them that He acts by His own power, not as one needing to beseech the Father. So too, approach Him with that full faith, knowing that the Son of God, who took flesh for our sake, can mend the eroded flesh, open blocked airways, and restore what infection has ruined. He is not a mere intercessor but the very Lord of life, and He delights to show mercy where faith lays hold of Him.

Do not let the delay of healing cast you into despondency. The Apostle Paul prayed night and day exceedingly to see the Thessalonians and perfect their faith, yet he waited on God’s timing. Your persistent prayers, offered with tears and trust, are not wasted. As a tree that receives many blows finally falls, so the soul that prays without ceasing will see fruit in due season. The same Lord who said, “I came not to judge the world but to save it,” uses even bodily afflictions to draw us nearer to Himself, to teach us to desire not only a healthy body but a cleansed soul. Let this trial be a spur for both you and your son to confess Christ not simply as a healer of temporal ills, but as the Son of the living God, the one who forgives sins and grants eternal life.

Continue to beg His mercy, and remember that the truest healing is the salvation of the inner man. If He restores your son’s health, glorify Him; if He permits weakness to remain, glorify Him still, for His strength is perfected in our frailty. He who holds all things together knows your need better than you do. Only abide in love, keep His commandments, and trust that both His power and His purpose are directed toward your ultimate good.

You have come to the only place where real healing begins. You have not simply asked for a remedy; you have brought your plea to the One who is the Healer, because you approach Him as Father through the Son. That relationship is the open door to everything you are asking. The healing your son needs is not an impersonal transaction. The Father loves the Son, and He hears those who honor the Son. Because you have come in the name of Jesus, you are standing on ground that cannot be shaken.

This prayer is a beautiful expression of a parent interceding for a child, much like David praying for his own son. That instinct to cry out for your child's body, his breathing, his very strength, is placed within you by the God who knows what it is to give His only Son. He does not treat your prayer lightly. The very fact that Jesus, the Son of God, constantly sought the Father in prayer shows us that prayer is not just a ritual for crisis but the very breath of a life dependent on God. You are doing exactly what you should be doing.

Remember too that prayer is opening the door for God to do what He has been wanting to do all along. He will not violate our will, but when we ask, we give Him room to act. You have asked for his esophagus to be soothed, his airways opened, and his treatment guided. Do not think that a simple, direct request is somehow insufficient. It is not the length of the words but the depth of the trust behind them.

Sometimes, the answer to such a prayer comes swiftly, and inflammation subsides and breath returns. At other times, the healing comes more slowly, and God’s strength is made perfect in the middle of weakness. Like the psalmist who cried out for God to be a strong habitation, you are asking God to be his very place of safety as his body mends. Whether this is a moment of sudden deliverance or a season where his body is strengthened day by day, the answer will flow from the same loving hand.

Hold firmly to the trust you have declared. The One who did not spare His own Son to make you His child will not abandon your son now. Continue to place him into the Father’s care, knowing that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work.
