Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting ### before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your prayer is a powerful declaration of faith in the healing power of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Father God, we come before You with hearts full of compassion and trust in Your mercy. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over ###, Lord. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon him, soothing the inflammation in his esophagus, restoring the lining, and regulating the acid in his stomach. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We also pray for his lungs and respiratory system, Father. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We ask that You remove all blockages, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely. Breathe new life into his lungs, Lord, so that he may breathe deeply and without pain. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Father, we ask that You guide his doctors and bless the treatments they provide. Grant them wisdom and discernment as they care for ###. Your Word says in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." We trust in Your guidance, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that ### is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and we speak life and restoration over every part of his body. May he experience Your healing touch in a tangible way, Lord, and may his testimony bring glory to Your name.

We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has given us the authority to pray and the promise of answered prayer. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear one. Keep your faith anchored in His Word, and remember that He is near to all who call upon Him in truth (Psalm 145:18). Encourage ### with scriptures that speak of God’s healing power, and remind him that the same God who created his body is fully capable of restoring it. We believe that as you continue to seek the Lord, you will see His hand move mightily in ###’s life.

We ache with you as we read this. When someone we love is suffering and so much of his body feels under siege, his esophagus, his lungs, his very breath, the weight a mother carries is immense. It is not just a list of symptoms; it is the sound of his discomfort, the waiting for test results, the quiet moments when fears rise.

We know you are asking God to soothe inflammation and open airways, and we join you in that. While we hold onto hope together, we want to gently encourage you not to carry the practical load alone. When a child faces a chronic and complex illness, as the medical literature often notes, the caregiving family gets depleted too. You named many medical needs, but perhaps the most personal part of your request is simply being his mom in this storm. So one concrete step we can offer: give yourself permission to ask someone you trust, a friend from church, a family member, to help with a single, tangible burden this week, whether a meal, a ride for your son, or just sitting with you so you can rest. A small break for you is a part of his care too.

We also gently remind you, without alarm, to continue communicating openly with his doctors about any new or worsening symptoms, especially with breathing, so they can guide the treatment fully. God often works through their skill.

Let’s hold what you asked before the Lord now.

Father, in Jesus’ name, we lift up this dear son to You. We ask for Your mercy on his body, calm the acid, mend the lining, and open his lungs so every breath comes easily and without pain. Give his medical team clear wisdom and steady hands. And Father, for this mother who loves him so fiercely, give her a deep sense that You are near. Sustain her strength, surround her with practical help, and grant them both the peace that passes understanding even as they await full healing. We trust You for every good gift. Amen.

Your prayer has ascended to the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth, and He will not cast out the cry of a parent’s heart when it is offered in the name of His dear Son. The leaves of that tree which is Christ are for the healing of the nations, and the very hem of His garment carries virtue enough to soothe every raging inflammation and open every sealed passage. He who forgave the palsied man and then bade him take up his bed and walk is still mighty to save and to restore. Healing and pardon flow in one stream from His wounded side.

Lay hold of this: the sin which breeds all sickness has been borne by Jesus, and His stripes purchase remedy for body as well as soul. Whether the Lord sees fit to raise your son up speedily by the skill of his doctors, or to draw out the trial a little longer that faith may be refined, it is all in the hand of unerring love. The great Physician will do what is best. Only trust, and do not waver. The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings, and you shall yet see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

How great is your love for your son, that you bring his suffering so fervently before the throne of God. Yet consider: if God Himself endured the rejection and agony of the cross to make you His child, will He not attend to the temporal afflictions of your son, whom He also desires to be His own? He suffered a slave to be father to Him, that He might make the Lord Father to you a slave. This is the measure of his care, that He permits seasons of bodily trial not as abandonment, but as a call to deeper trust. The burning inflammation you describe, the blocked passages, the erosion of his flesh, these are not hidden from the eyes of Him who formed that body in the womb.

But let your prayer rise not only for the soothing of the esophagus, the clearing of the lungs, and the regulation of what is disordered. For a greater danger lurks when the soul contracts a dropsy of pride or a fever of self-will, and that spiritual inflammation proves harder to quench than any bodily acid. There are many who, while seeking physical cure, remain indifferent to the diseases of the soul, and this is a more grievous thing than the disease itself. As for one in disease not to be obedient to the physician’s injunctions is a more serious evil than the being diseased, so too the health of the body, if gained without the health of the soul, leaves a man maimed within. Pray then that his whole being, the inner man foremost, be restored to soundness, that the very trial of his flesh might become a medicine for humility, a lesson that we seek nothing beyond a sufficiency.

Do not imagine that Christ’s healing hand is moved by mere pity without requiring faith, as though all must be saved indiscriminately. Even His love to man has a kind of proportion, depending on the faith of them that are healed. He asks in every generation, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” Believe, then, not only that He can entreat the Father, but that He, being the Son of God, has authority in Himself to command the body’s rebellion to cease. Cling to this with your son. Let him hear the commandments and treasure them, for he that heareth them loveth the Son and the Father also. And if the healing delays, if the physicians’ treatments seem slow, be not like the impatient patient who despises the regimen. The time of seeming delay is itself a mark of great lovingkindness, that we might wash away negligence and learn to wait upon the Lord.

Even if you have prayed often and seen no immediate fruit, do not cease. How many, who have heard ten times and remained insensible, have afterward at one hearing been converted! The repeated petitions are like blows upon a tree that at last bring it down; the final answer relies upon all that came before. So continue to besiege heaven not only for the regulation of acid and the opening of airways, but that your son, through this furnace, might come forth as a refined vessel fit for the Master’s use. Trust that the Lord who permits the disease can also make it the very path to a more luminous health, one in which both body and soul give thanks without ceasing. Though the body suffers, let your hope be anchored here: that He who raises the dead will in His own time and way restore what is broken, and more importantly, bring your son to that eternal life where no erosion or inflammation can ever threaten again.

Your prayer reaches the heart of a Father who knows what it is to give His only Son. The One you trusted in when you prayed, Jesus, is declared to be the Son of God with power by His resurrection from the dead. He is not far removed from a parent's anguish, nor from the frailty of the human body. In the Gospels, a nobleman came desperate for his own son, who lay sick many miles away. Jesus did not need to travel or touch; He spoke the word, and the boy was healed that very hour. The same authority over every cell, every inflamed tissue, every blocked airway belongs to Him now.

We do not always understand why some healings come in a moment and others unfold across days, through the hands of doctors and the slow processes God set within the body. But gradual healing is no less divine. The lining of an esophagus repairing itself over time still speaks of a Creator who fashioned those intricate processes. Ask Him for wisdom for the physicians, for He made the mind that studies medicine and the hands that administer treatment. Trust that whether the restoration comes swiftly or layer by layer, it is the work of the Father, and the Son does nothing apart from Him.

I know the sight of a suffering child grips a parent's heart with a love that mirrors the love of God for His own Son, the Son in whom He is well pleased. Yet the Father did not withhold that Son for our sake. If He gave His beloved for our eternal healing, will He not also care for the temporary tent of these lungs and this frame? He numbers every breath. He formed your son’s body and knows precisely what has been eroded, what infection lingers, what swelling hinders. You have laid all of it before Him; now let the peace that comes from trusting a faithful Father guard your mind. Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, and the same power that calmed seas and compelled evil spirits to flee is not bewildered by acid reflux or respiratory damage. Honor the Son by placing the full weight of your hope on Him, and as you do, you honor the Father who sent Him.

Continue to pray, not as though bending an unwilling ear, but as a beloved child speaking to the One who corrects only the sons He delights in. Your persistence is the mark of that relationship. Wait on the Lord with eyes open to every small improvement as a gift, giving thanks for each deep, painless breath as it comes. He who did not spare His own Son is for you, and He is for your son.
