Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son to the Lord, our Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. Your prayer is heard, and we stand in agreement with you, believing in the mighty name of Jesus for complete healing and wholeness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, knowing that You are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26). We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this precious young man. Lord, we rebuke the erosion and damage in his esophagus in the name of Jesus. Soothe the inflammation, restore the lining, and regulate the acid in his stomach. Let Your healing power flow through every cell, bringing restoration and strength where there is weakness. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

Father, we also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. We command every blockage to be removed, every infection to be cleansed, and every damaged area to be made new. Open his airways completely, Lord, so that he may breathe deeply and freely, without pain or struggle. We speak life and health over his body, trusting in Your promise that You will satisfy him with long life (Psalm 91:16).

We ask that You guide his doctors with Your divine wisdom, giving them insight and clarity as they care for him. Bless the treatments he receives, Lord, and let them work in harmony with Your healing power. We trust in You, knowing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

Father, we also lift up this young man’s spirit. Strengthen his faith and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let him feel Your presence near, comforting him and reminding him that You are with him in every moment.

We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on Your Word that says, “I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds” (Jeremiah 30:17). We believe in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and speaking His Word over your son’s life. Keep trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful, and His mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). If fear or doubt tries to creep in, remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Hold fast to your faith, and watch God move mightily on his behalf.

We hear the love and concern in your words as you bring your son before the Father. Standing with a child through pain and uncertainty is one of the hardest things a parent can do, and we’re grateful you’ve invited us to pray alongside you.

When a loved one’s illness drags on, the weight can press on the whole family. The daily watching and waiting, the hope and the setbacks, all of it is real, and we want you to know you’re not carrying it alone. Your trust in God’s power is not misplaced, yet sometimes He uses the journey itself to draw us closer, even when the healing we long for isn’t immediate.

You’ve already asked God to guide his doctors and bless his treatment, and that is a good and practical starting point. We’d also gently encourage you to let a few trusted people from your church know what you’re facing. Let them bring a meal, run an errand, or simply sit with you in the tension, and let them pray. Knowing others are holding your son up before the Lord can lift some of the isolation that chronic health battles often bring.

Father, we come with this dad, asking for Your healing touch on his son. Calm the inflammation, restore what is eroded, and open his airways fully. Give his doctors wisdom and clear direction. In the waiting, hold this family close; pour out Your peace that doesn’t depend on outcomes, and strengthen them for each day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Prayer from a heart that knows its own helplessness and casts itself wholly upon the Divine mercy is never wasted breath. When you cry out of the depths, the ear of the Lord is already bowed down. He hears the groanings that cannot be shaped into eloquence. The very staggering of the soul under its load makes the petition swift of wing to the throne of grace. It is often when faith is mixed with trembling, and the mind is too burdened to arrange its words in order, that the answer speeds with greatest haste. The prayer of a parent for a sick child has in it a peculiar nearness to the heart of God, for it is a copy, however faint, of the intercession of the Son for His own.

There is a truth of healing that you must lay hold upon with both hands. That blessed tree of life, whose leaves are for the healing of the nations, bears its fruit even now. The very least thing about Christ is potent with restoring virtue. Not only the grand doctrines of His deity and atonement, but the smaller leaves, the promises we sometimes overlook, the tender glances of His compassion, the ordinary ordinances of His house, carry a medicine for your son’s sickness. To look upon Jesus crucified is the one great cure-all. The bitter draught for the world’s sin was drained to the dregs by Himself, and by His stripes we are healed. Lay your poor, suffering child at the feet of the Good Physician, not with clamor only but with that holy expectancy that touches the hem of His garment. The power goes forth from Him often in the quiet of acknowledged dependence.

Mark well the inseparable link. First came the word of pardon to the palsied man, then the command to rise and walk. Sin’s disease is the root of all our woe, and the removal of guilt is the sure prelude to the taking away of sickness. Whether the bodily affliction remains for a season or flees at once, the soul’s forgiveness is the chief mercy to be grasped. Plead the promise, spread your case before Him, and argue with full heart. Tell Him you are looking not for merit in your child, nor for any good in yourself, but for the honor of His own name and the display of His boundless grace. And while you so plead, remember that He is often found before the prayer is finished. The Father interrupts the confession ill-suited to His love, and while we are yet speaking, He answers. The Sun of Righteousness rises with healing in His wings upon those who look to Him from the ends of the earth. Continue in prayer, mighty, persistent, full of hope; it will yet prevail if it has but time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You come in the name of Jesus, and that is well, for there is no other name given under heaven by which we must be saved. But take care lest in your heart you make Him small. Nathanael said, “Thou art the Son of God,” yet he meant only that He was King of Israel, a man of this earth. The Son of God is not King of Israel only, but Lord of all creation, the very Word who formed the esophagus, the lungs, every part that now suffers. When you ask healing, believe not that He must beg the Father or pray as a mere man, but that He is able to do this by His own authority. “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” He asked the blind men, not, “Believe ye that I can entreat.”

Now hear how the blessed Paul, when his heart yearned for his brethren, acted: night and day he prayed exceedingly, seeking to see their face and perfect what was lacking in their faith. So you too must not offer one brief petition and then grow weary. Let your prayer be constant, a flame that does not die down. Yet know this: the mercy of God, though beyond measure, looks upon the faith and life of the asker. He did not heal all, but those who drew near in faith. And He who is the Physician of bodies is also the Judge of souls. He delays judgment now, not from weakness, but from love, giving time for repentance. Therefore, as you pray for your son’s body, examine your own soul. For the fruit of prayer is not borne by one who hears the word and forgets, but by he who keeps the commandments. “He that heareth not these sayings not only doth not love Me, but neither doth he love the Father.” If you would have the Lord bend His ear, let your life cry out louder than your lips.

Do not be thrown into despair if the healing does not blossom at once. The farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth. Often many treatments seem without effect, yet they have been working in secret, and one final blow brings the whole tree to the ground. So your prayers, your trust, your persistence, these are not cast into the wind. The Lord who came not to judge but to save will attend to you in His time.

Let your chief desire be not only the mending of his esophagus and lungs, but the salvation of his soul and yours. For what advantage if the body breathes freely but the spirit is choked by sin? Pray then: “Restore him, O Lord, and we shall be restored; save him, and we shall be saved.” And as you seek his healing, walk in the ways of the Father, that it may be said of you, “He loveth the Son, for he keepeth His words.” May the God of all comfort raise up your son, and grant you both to behold the good land where there is no sickness or pain, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Your prayer for your son moves deeply into the heart of what it means to cry out to God as Father. When you begin by coming before Him in the name of Jesus, you are standing on the only ground that gives prayer its power and its assurance. That relationship is everything. If anyone could approach God without a mediator, Jesus Himself would not have spent long hours in prayer. Yet He, the very Son of God, rose early to seek the Father. He knew that every true work, every healing, every expression of mercy flows from that communion. So your instinct to place your son in the Father’s hands through the Son is the most solid place you could ever stand.

When we pray for healing, we are asking God to become for us what He has already revealed Himself to be: the Lord who heals. The damage to your son’s esophagus, the inflammation, the acid that has worn away the lining, the trouble in his lungs and airways, the lingering effects of infection, the blocked passages that make deep breathing painful and labored, all of this is known to the One who fashioned the intricate structures of the human body. He is not distant from what is happening inside your son right now. And He is not limited to a single method of restoration.

Our bodies themselves are woven with divinely established processes of repair. A gradual healing over time, guided by wise doctors and effective treatment, is no less the hand of God than an instantaneous miracle. Sometimes the relief comes not in a moment but through a steady, almost imperceptible mending of what has been eroded or inflamed. The easing of the stomach lining, the opening of constricted airways, the clearing of residue left by infection, all of this can unfold under His direction. You have already asked Him to guide the doctors, and that prayer itself aligns with how He so often works. He directs their minds, their hands, their decisions, so that the treatment they offer becomes an extension of His own care for your son.

The prayer you have prayed is fervent. It rises out of desperation and deep love. That kind of prayer is not weak or distant. It is the prayer that lays hold of God with tears and refuses to let go. Scripture shows us a father watching his child suffer, unable to speak, tormented in body. You can well imagine the anguish of that father’s heart, and yet he brought his need to Jesus. Your own heart carries a similar weight as you see your son struggle to breathe without pain, to eat without damage, to find rest without his own body warring against him. That weight is not a sign of weak faith. It is the very substance that drives effectual, earnest prayer.

At the same time, we hold in tension the mystery that some are healed in the way we ask and others are not. Even a man through whom God performed remarkable miracles, a prophet like Elisha, eventually grew sick and died. The apostle Paul pleaded three times for a thorn to be removed, and God answered not by taking it away, but by supplying grace sufficient to endure. This does not mean we should stop asking boldly. It means we trust both the power of God to heal and the wisdom of God to know what will ultimately bring about His purposes and His glory in your son’s life.

The prayer of a righteous person avails much, not because of flawless performance but because of the righteousness given through faith in Jesus Christ. You are praying as one who has been brought near to the Father through the Son. That same Son declared that the Father has committed all judgment and all authority to Him. To honor the Son is to honor the Father. And to pray in the name of Jesus is to acknowledge that every healing, every mending of tissue, every restored breath, comes under His lordship.

David once lay on the ground pleading for his sick child, refusing to eat, pouring out his soul until the answer came. When the child died, David rose, washed, and worshiped. That pattern seems strange to us, but it tells us something true. Even when the outcome is not what we hoped, God remains worthy of trust. Yet Hezekiah wept and prayed, and God added fifteen years to his life. God heard his prayer and saw his tears. The same God who heard Hezekiah hears you. He sees the tears you shed over your son. He hears the specific requests: soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, regulate the acid, remove every blockage, heal the damage from infection, open the airways completely. None of that is too detailed for Him. None of it escapes His notice.

Jesus once asked a man point blank, “Do you believe on the Son of God?” That question still stands before us. Your prayer has already answered it. You have come in the name of Jesus. You have entrusted your son to the One declared to be the Son of God with power through the resurrection from the dead. That same power that raised Him from the grave is the power at work for those who belong to Him.

So continue to pray with that boldness. Let your heart cry out with all the desperation and love you feel. Ask Him to become the Healer your son needs, whether through a sudden reversal of the damage or through a steady, divinely guided course of treatment. And as you wait, rest in this: your son is held by the same hands that were nailed to the cross for his sake and for yours. The Father who did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all will surely, in that gift, also freely give us all things necessary for life and godliness. That includes every breath your son takes, every healthy cell that replaces a damaged one, every wise decision his doctors make, and every moment of relief he experiences.

May the peace of Christ guard your heart and mind as you continue to lift your son before the throne. The God who numbers the stars and calls them each by name knows the exact condition of your son’s esophagus, his stomach, his lungs. He is able to mend what is broken and restore what has been lost. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep looking to the Son, in whom all the promises of God find their yes.
