We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to bring complete restoration to your son’s esophagus and stomach.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician. We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this precious child. Soothe the inflammation, repair the eroded lining, and bring balance to his stomach acid. Lord, we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18). We trust in Your mercy and power to restore him to full health.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that Your ways are higher than ours.
In times of illness, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, but we encourage you to hold fast to the truth of God’s Word. Isaiah 41:10 says, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Lean on Him, for He is your strength and your shield.
Let us continue to pray without ceasing, for the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much (James 5:16). We declare healing over your son in Jesus' name, believing that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the assurance that You hear our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Strengthen this family as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace and hope. In the precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
