We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your faith in Jesus’ name is powerful, for Scripture tells us, *"Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven"* (James 5:14-15). We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to heal and restore your son’s body completely.
Father God, we come before You as a body of believers, united in faith, and we ask for Your divine healing touch upon this precious young man. Lord, You formed his body in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13), and You know every cell, every fiber, and every part of his being. We ask that You soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, repair the eroded lining, and bring balance to the acid in his stomach. Let Your healing power flow through him like a river, restoring strength, health, and wholeness. We declare that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we refuse to accept any report that contradicts Your Word.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals caring for him. Give them discernment to provide the right treatment and guidance, and let their hands be instruments of Your healing. Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to take root in their hearts. Your Word says, *"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God"* (Philippians 4:6). We choose to trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to Your promises. We thank You in advance for the healing that is already taking place, for You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11). Amen.
