We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your faith in Jesus’ healing power is a testament to the trust we place in Him, for it is written in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* The Lord is near to those who call upon Him in truth, and we believe He is already at work in your son’s body, bringing restoration and peace.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the Great Physician, and ask for Your divine intervention. We rebuke the inflammation and erosion in his esophagus and declare healing over every cell and tissue. Lord, we ask that You soothe the pain, mend the lining, and balance the acid in his stomach. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We stand on this promise and declare that by the stripes of Jesus, your son is healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that they may be instruments of Your healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*
In addition to physical healing, we pray for your son’s spiritual and emotional well-being. May he feel Your presence surrounding him, comforting him, and filling him with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen his faith and remind him that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We also lift you up, dear parent, as you carry this burden for your child. May the Lord grant you patience, strength, and unwavering faith as you wait on Him. Cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Remember that the Lord is your ever-present help, and He will sustain you through this trial.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the healing that is already taking place. We declare that Your will is for wholeness and restoration, and we trust in Your perfect timing. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
