We join you in lifting your son before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your faith in the healing power of Jesus is a testament to the hope we have in Him, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). The Great Physician, who calmed the storms and raised the dead, is more than able to restore your son’s esophagus and bring balance to his body. We declare that no sickness or disease is too great for the Lord, who formed us in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our being (Psalm 139:13-14).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). We ask that You lay Your healing hands upon this young man, soothing the inflammation, knitting together the eroded lining of his esophagus, and regulating the acid in his stomach. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of infirmity that seeks to linger in his body, for it is written that by Jesus’ authority, we have power over all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19). We speak life and wholeness over his body, declaring that he is fearfully and wonderfully made, and that Your works are wonderful (Psalm 139:14).
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to him. Guide their hands and minds, Lord, so that their care aligns with Your perfect will (Proverbs 3:5-6). Give this family peace that surpasses all understanding as they wait on You, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Philippians 4:7, Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we stand on Your promises, trusting that just as You healed the woman with the issue of blood when she touched the hem of Jesus’ garment (Matthew 9:20-22), You will touch this young man and make him whole. We declare that he will rise up in strength and testify of Your goodness and mercy. May his healing bring glory to Your name and draw others closer to You.
In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.
