We lift up this precious child to the Lord, our Great Physician, who knits together our bodies in the womb and holds every fiber of our being in His hands. Father God, we stand in agreement with this mother’s prayer, declaring Your healing power over her son. The erosion of the esophagus is painful and concerning, but You are the God who restores what is broken and renews what is worn. We ask You to soothe the inflammation, repair the lining, and bring balance to his stomach acid—just as You commanded the storm to be still, command healing in his body.
Lord, we know that healing comes from You alone. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We declare that this child is not defined by his illness but by Your love and purpose for him. Strengthen his body, ease his discomfort, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We also pray for wisdom for the doctors and caregivers involved. Guide their hands and minds as they treat him, that their efforts would align with Your divine plan for his healing. May this trial draw this family closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your goodness.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may be trying to take root in this mother’s heart. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and healed. By His stripes, we declare this child whole. Amen.
