Thank you for sharing what you experienced. It is understandable that seeing something so strange and sudden would leave you feeling unsettled, and it is good that you are turning to the Lord for protection and standing on His promises.
Scripture is clear that unclean spirits are real, and that their purpose is evil and destructive. The Bible also shows that they are not free to do as they please. They are under God's authority, their final judgment is certain, and they must obey the name of Jesus. When Jesus cast them out, they often cried out as they left, showing both their reality and their complete subjection to Him.
The Bible also teaches that angels are ministering spirits sent to serve those who belong to Christ, and Psalm 91:11 gives a precious promise that God will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. You can rest in that promise. As a child of God through faith in Jesus Christ, you belong to Him, and greater is He who is in you than any power that is in the world.
Fear is one of the main ways the enemy tries to weaken faith. Fear and faith cannot rule the heart at the same time. When fear is allowed to take over, faith departs, and when faith is strong, fear must leave. The cure for fear is remembering the Lord, His presence, His power, and His love for you. David said that even when he walked through the valley of death he would fear no evil because the Lord was with him. You do not need to hide or be tormented by what you saw. If God is your protection, He can keep you wherever you are.
It is wise to stay far from anything connected with divination or the occult, for those things open doors to deception. Instead, keep your heart and mind filled with Christ, with prayer, with the Word of God, and with fellowship with Him. You have authority in Jesus to resist evil spirits, and what you bind on earth in His name is upheld in heaven.
I am praying for you now, that the Lord will surround you with His peace, guard your home and your mind, and let you know His presence in a strong way. May He command His angels to watch over you, may He drive away all fear, and may He strengthen your faith as you keep your eyes on Jesus. Trust Him, believe His Word, and do not be afraid, for He is with you and He is faithful to keep you.
