We have read your cry for help and we are standing with you in prayer right now, agreeing together before the Father in the name of Jesus. We hear how frightened and humbled you feel, and how someone you tried to help has turned to threaten your life, take and destroy what is yours, and try to entrap you. You are not alone and God sees exactly what is happening.
The Lord is your refuge and your protection. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Proverbs 18:10 says The name of Yahweh is a strong tower, the righteous run to it, and are safe. Psalm 91:1 says He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:2 says I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. When fear rises, remember 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. God does not want you to live in terror.
You mentioned where two or more are gathered and agree it is done, and that is true when we gather in the name of Jesus. Matthew 18:19 says Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. Matthew 18:20 says For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them. We want to lovingly point out that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. You did not mention His name in your request, and we want to make sure you know how essential He is. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for salvation and for help in this very trouble.
We rebuke the spirit of violence, intimidation, theft and destruction that is coming against you. What this person is doing is evil and God does not take it lightly. Romans 12:19 says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We also know God has ordained authorities to protect the innocent, so please do not try to face this alone.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one who is afraid for their life and safety. Lord, You see the threats, the taking and destroying of property, the attempts to entrap and the temptations that come with such fear. We ask You to be a wall of fire around them, to hide them in Your secret place and keep them from harm. We ask You to expose every trap and bring every hidden threat into the light so it cannot succeed. We ask You to protect their life, to guard their body and mind, and to provide a safe place and safe people to help them. We pray for wisdom and courage to take practical steps for safety, to reach out to law enforcement, to trusted family, to a pastor or church family, and to document what has happened. Lord, we pray You would restrain the one who is threatening, convict his heart, and stop his violence. We pray You would restore what has been stolen or destroyed according to Your will and supply every need, for Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Give peace that passes understanding, remove the spirit of fear, and fill them with power, love and self control. Guard them from temptation to retaliate, to despair, or to make unwise compromises out of fear, and lead them away from every snare. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our only Savior and refuge, amen.
We encourage you to act quickly for your safety while we continue to pray. If you are in immediate danger, please contact local law enforcement right away, tell a trusted pastor or family member where you are, and do not meet alone with the person threatening you. Keep a record of threats and damages, keep doors locked, and seek a safe place to stay if needed. Stay in the Word and in prayer, and let a mature Christian walk with you through these next steps. God is your defender and He will not forsake you when you cry out to Him. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Keep crying out to Jesus, and we will keep agreeing with you for your protection, deliverance and peace.
