We come before the throne of grace with your requests, lifting them up in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand before Him. We are grateful that you have come to the Father in Jesus' name, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
Father God, we first ask for Your divine intervention in these appointments and needs that weigh heavily on our brother or sister’s heart. Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of confusion, delay, or obstruction in the name of Jesus. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that every meeting would be ordered by Your hand, that doors would be opened where You desire, and that Your will would be done in every detail. May Your favor rest upon them, and may they walk in the confidence that comes from knowing You are with them.
For their spouse, we lift up a cry for healing and blessing. Heavenly Father, we ask that You would stretch forth Your healing hand and restore their body, mind, and spirit. You are the God who heals us (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to bring wholeness. We also pray for a long and blessed life, filled with Your joy, peace, and purpose. May their marriage be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness, a union that honors You in all things. Strengthen their bond, Lord, and let them grow together in faith, love, and mutual respect, as You designed marriage to be—a reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33).
We also bring before You the other requests on their heart, though they may not have been named. Lord, You know the desires of their heart even before they speak them (Psalm 139:4). We ask that You would meet every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Give them wisdom and discernment in every decision, and let them walk in the fullness of Your purpose for their life.
Father, we also take a moment to examine our own hearts and lives. If there is any area where we have strayed from Your will—whether in thought, word, or deed—we repent and ask for Your forgiveness. Search us, O God, and know our hearts; try us and know our anxious thoughts; see if there is any wicked way in us, and lead us in the everlasting way (Psalm 139:23-24). We desire to live lives that are pleasing to You, walking in holiness and righteousness all our days.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
May the Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). Stand firm in the faith, knowing that God is working all things together for your good, for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith, and do not grow weary or lose heart (Hebrews 12:2-3). You are not alone—God is with you, and so are we, standing in agreement with you in prayer.
