Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and trusting us to pray with you. God knows every unspoken request you carry for yourself, for your family, for your friends and for others in your life, even when the details are not spoken out loud. Nothing is hidden from Him, and He invites you to bring everything to Him through Jesus Christ.
The greatest hope we have is that real life is found in the Son. Scripture teaches that he who hears the word of Jesus and believes on the Father who sent Him has everlasting life and has passed from death to life, not only hearing with the ear but keeping His word in the heart. As the Father has life in Himself, so He has given to the Son to have life in Himself and to give life to others. When you give your life to Jesus Christ, your old life lived according to the flesh, with all its sinful ways, is buried with Him through His death and resurrection, and you are raised to walk in a new life governed by the Spirit. That new life brings a responsibility to open yourself not just to a work from God but to God Himself, letting His Spirit conform you to the image of Christ day by day.
In that new life there is a choice each day whether to be ruled by the flesh or by the Spirit. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Life apart from Him, lived only for the body and this present world, becomes empty and frustrating, but he who has the Son has life and finds true purpose and fullness. The Lord also teaches that His commandments are not restrictions to keep you from joy, but the way of wisdom and life. They are life to those who find them and health to the body, and when you fear the Lord and walk in His right paths, avoiding the way of evil and guarding your heart with diligence, you walk in the good and long life He intends.
I am praying for you and for your family, for each of your friends and for every unspoken request you mentioned. I am asking the Lord to draw each of you closer to Jesus, that you would know His gift of eternal life and His daily care as He works in your lives. For those who are sick, I am praying for the Lord's healing touch according to His perfect will and wisdom, knowing that His love and power are not measured by whether healing comes immediately, and that sickness is not always a sign of sin in a person's life. For your request for a long and blessed life, I am praying that God would grant length of days and that those days would be centered on Him, for a life with God at the center is a contented, rich and full life, and Scripture assures us that in the end it will be well with those who fear God. Families are a heritage from the Lord, and He delights to bless those who fear Him and walk in His ways.
Even in trials and pressures, God gives opportunity to manifest Himself and to show His strength. I pray you will learn to wait on the Lord in every difficulty, reckoning the old life of bitterness, anger and sin to be dead because you are now alive in Christ, and living by faith in the Son of God who loved you and gave Himself for you. May His Spirit, the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead, give life and strength to you now, and may His hand be upon you and your loved ones, bringing into your lives what He knows is best, for nothing happens apart from His care. We entrust all of these unspoken needs into the hands of Jesus, who alone has authority to give life and to judge with righteousness, and we ask all of this in Jesus name.
