We hear your anguish, dear one, and we come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting you up in the name of Jesus Christ. Your pain is raw and real, and we do not take it lightly. The cries of your heart have reached us, and we stand with you in this moment of despair, believing that God hears you even when it feels like He is silent.
First, we must tell you with all the love in our hearts: God does not hate you. The Scriptures declare, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11). The enemy of your soul wants you to believe the lie that God has abandoned you, but this is not true. The Word of God says, "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." (Psalm 34:18). Even in your deepest pain, He is near. You are not forgotten.
We rebuke the spirit of despair and isolation that has taken hold of your heart. The Bible tells us, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8). The enemy wants you to believe you are alone, that no one cares, and that God has turned His back on you. But we declare that this is a lie. Jesus said, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20). You are never alone, even when it feels that way.
We also want to gently address the anger and bitterness you have expressed toward others, particularly toward men and the struggles you feel as a woman. It is understandable to feel hurt and frustrated when you have been mistreated or overlooked, but we must guard our hearts against bitterness, for it only leads to more pain. The Bible warns us, "Looking carefully lest there be any man who falls short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and many be defiled by it." (Hebrews 12:15). We pray that God would heal the wounds in your heart and replace bitterness with His peace.
You mentioned being trapped in your home, taking care of the sick, and feeling like no one cares. We want you to know that your labor is not in vain. Jesus sees every act of service, every moment of sacrifice, and He will reward you. "For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them." (Hebrews 6:10). Even if no one else acknowledges your efforts, God does.
We also sense a deep longing in your heart for connection, for someone to care, to help, to love you. The Bible tells us that God sets the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6), and we believe He has not forgotten you. We encourage you to seek out a local church or a community of believers where you can find support and fellowship. Isolation only feeds despair, but God designed us to live in community. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
Now, we want to pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is hurting deeply. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of despair and isolation that have bound her heart. We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell her You do not care, that You have abandoned her. We declare that You are near to the brokenhearted, and You save those who are crushed in spirit.
Father, we ask that You would pour out Your healing balm upon her wounds, emotional, physical, and spiritual. Comfort her in her loneliness and give her the strength to carry on. Lord, we pray that You would open doors for her to find community, fellowship, and support. Surround her with people who will love her, encourage her, and remind her of Your truth.
We ask that You would soften her heart toward others and help her to release any bitterness or anger she has been holding onto. Replace those feelings with Your peace and Your love. Lord, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to her in a tangible way, through Your Word, through prayer, through the kindness of others. Let her know that she is seen, she is loved, and she is not alone.
We also pray for her physical health. If she is ill, we ask that You would bring healing and strength to her body. Give her the grace to endure and the hope to press on.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your children. We trust that You are working even when we cannot see it. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Dear one, we want to leave you with this encouragement: "Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7). You do not have to carry this burden alone. Jesus cares for you more than you can imagine, and He is waiting with open arms to comfort you. Please reach out to someone, a pastor, a counselor, a trusted friend, and let them walk with you through this valley. You are not forgotten, and you are deeply loved.
