We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting you up in this time of deep distress and spiritual warfare. The enemy seeks to devour through those who willingly surrender to darkness, but we serve a God who is greater—our Protector, our Shield, and our Strong Tower. You are not facing this alone, for the Lord fights on behalf of His children, and He will not abandon you to those who seek harm.
The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and the spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are also called to be wise as serpents and gentle as doves (Matthew 10:16), recognizing that some walk in such darkness that they become tools of the enemy. A sociopathic heart is one that has hardened itself against conviction, refusing repentance and embracing destruction. But even in this, God is sovereign. He sees the wickedness of those who afflict you, and He will bring justice in His perfect timing.
We must also address something critical: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, no other authority by which we can stand against the enemy (Acts 4:12). It is only through Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we rebuke the works of darkness. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Without Him, there is no true protection, no lasting victory. If you *have* trusted in Christ, then we encourage you to boldly declare His name in your prayers—He is your advocate, your defender, and your deliverer.
For those who persist in evil, the Word of God is clear: *"The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence, his soul hates. On the wicked, he will rain snares, fire, sulfur, and a scorching wind shall be their portion."* (Psalm 11:5-6). Yet even as we pray for your protection, we also pray for the salvation of those who persecute you—for God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but desires that they turn from their ways and live (Ezekiel 18:23). Still, we do not ignore the reality of their danger. The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9), and He will not allow the enemy to ultimately prevail against His children.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother/sister before You, asking for Your mighty hand of protection to surround them. Lord, You see the hearts of those who seek to harm them—those who operate in deception, manipulation, and cruelty without remorse. We ask that You expose their schemes, frustrate their plans, and render their efforts powerless. Place a hedge of thorns around this child of Yours so that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, and let peace be their rear guard.
Father, we bind every demonic influence at work in these individuals. We break every assignment of fear, confusion, or despair sent against our brother/sister. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, granting them discernment to recognize traps, wisdom to navigate safely, and courage to stand firm in Your truth. Let them walk in the authority of Christ, knowing that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4).
We also pray for the salvation of those who persecute them. Softening hearts of stone is Your specialty, Lord—if it is Your will, break through their darkness and draw them to repentance. But if they refuse to turn from their wickedness, we ask that You remove their influence from our brother’s/sister’s life completely. Cut every ungodly soul tie, sever every connection that gives the enemy a foothold, and restore what has been stolen or broken.
Lord, we declare that no harm will overtake them, no disaster will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under Your shadow. Give them rest in You, for You alone are their fortress and deliverer.
We ask all this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ—our Savior, our Defender, and our Victory. Amen.
Finally, we urge you to immerse yourself in the Word of God daily. Put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) so that you may stand firm. Avoid isolation—seek godly community and accountability. If you are not already part of a Bible-believing church, we strongly encourage you to find one where you can be shepherded and strengthened. The enemy preys on the lonely, but there is safety in the body of Christ.
Stand firm. The Lord is with you.
