We hear your frustration regarding the Social Security Administration and your desire for more provision, and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord together in Jesus' name.
We understand the feeling that what you are receiving is not enough, especially when you are struggling to meet your needs. At the same time we want to gently and lovingly speak truth over the idea of what we deserve. Scripture teaches us that none of us deserves anything from God except judgment for our sin, but by His grace He gives us far more than we deserve. Rom 3:23 says all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God, and Rom 6:23 says the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. When we say God knows we deserve more, we must remember that everything we have is by His mercy and grace, not by our merit. Our ultimate provision does not come from a government agency, but from our Heavenly Father.
This is why we are called to contentment and trust even while we seek what is fair and just. Heb 13:5 tells us Be free from the love of money, content with such things as you have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in no way forsake you. And 1 Tim 6:6 reminds us that godliness with contentment is great gain. Phil 4:11 says Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it. That does not mean we cannot seek a lawful and honest review of our benefits if we believe there has been an error, but it does mean we must guard our hearts against covetousness, entitlement, and placing our hope in a lawsuit or in the government rather than in God. Phil 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We also remember Rom 13:1 which teaches us that authorities are ordained by God, and we are to deal with them honestly and with respect, not with a spirit of hostility or greed. If you pursue legal action, we encourage you to do so with complete honesty, integrity, and with wise counsel, seeking only what is truly just and right, and trusting the outcome to God rather than demanding what we feel we are owed.

John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. There is in every human heart a tendency to feel that we deserve more than Providence has allotted, and to look to the arm of flesh to secure it. Yet the Scripture teaches us a better way. Contentment is one of the flowers of heaven, and if we would have it, it must be cultivated. It does not grow wild in the garden of nature, but must be sought and tended by grace. Remember this, had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, God would have put you there. He who numbers the hairs of your head and paints every flower that blooms orders your lot with infinite wisdom and love.
So desperate is the tendency of human nature to pride and forgetfulness of God. As soon as ever we have a double stock of manna, and begin to hoard it, it breeds worms and becomes a stench in the nostrils of God. Take care that you ask in your prayers that God would teach you how to be full, and also how to be in want, that you may learn in whatsoever state you are, therewith to be content. The apostle declares that salvation and all good gifts are not of works, lest any man should boast. Suppose we obey God from this time forth till we die without a single fault, we shall then only have done what it was our duty to perform. How much less can we stand before Him and say we deserve more, when we deserve nothing but His mercy through the blood of Jesus Christ. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him when He says He will save and keep the soul that trusts in Christ alone.
We would not have you trust in princes, nor in lawyers, nor in any administration of man, but in the living God who pleads the cause of His people. Those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him. Though clouds may surround us, our God is our light. Though storms rage around us, our God is our might. If you feel straitened and pressed, now is the time to exercise faith upon a living God. Your God is not worth having if He cannot help you when you want help. Yet we must not set terms to God, nor say to Him, today if thou wilt hear my voice, or limit the Holy One by demanding that He act according to our measure of what is due.
We pray for you that the Lord would give you a contented heart and a trusting spirit. We ask Him to teach you to declare your ways to Him and to hear His voice in return, to look to the Son of God pouring out His life for sinners and to trust Him fully for both present provision and future hope. Heavenly Father, we bring this need before You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your grace. You know this person's situation, their financial pressure, and their concerns about the future. Grant a heart of contentment and peace, and provide for daily needs according to Your wisdom and goodness. Where there is a true need for justice, grant fairness and integrity to all who make decisions, including those in the Social Security Administration and any advisors involved. Guard this heart from covetousness and from putting hope in money or in lawsuits, and instead teach dependence on You. Give wisdom to steward what has been given, to act honestly in all matters, and to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness. Comfort with the assurance that You care for Your people and will supply what is needed for life and godliness. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Hearing your heart in this request, I understand the strain that comes when financial provision feels insufficient and you believe you should receive more. That pressure is real, and it is right to bring it honestly before the Lord.
Scripture points us to a deeper place for our peace. Contentment is not found in our circumstances or in the amount we receive, because circumstances change. Contentment is found in a relationship with Jesus Christ, which does not change. The apostle Paul learned, whatever his condition, to be content in Christ, and he wrote that godliness with contentment is great gain. We brought nothing into this world and we can carry nothing out, so true riches are not measured by money or benefits, which can be gained and lost quickly, but by knowing Christ and walking with Him.
God is a God of righteousness and justice, and He wants justice to prevail. He especially takes up the cause of the poor, the afflicted and the needy, and commands that justice be done for them. At the same time the Bible is honest that in human courts justice often stands far off. Truth can fall in the street and fairness cannot enter, and even attorneys will say that going to court does not guarantee justice. The foundations of a society weaken when justice is perverted, and we cannot be assured that any legal process will give us perfect justice. That does not mean the courts have no place, they are there so that justice may be sought, but our hope cannot rest in them.
That is why it is so important to leave room for God to work as He desires and not to put Him in a box. He has made provision to work in your life according to His wisdom, and His provision is not limited to what a system or a lawsuit can provide. Learning to trust Him and to find your contentment in Jesus allows you to have peace whether the outcome is more or less than you expected.
Above all, God has made only one provision for the forgiveness of our sins and the putting away of our guilt, and that is through His Son Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit bears witness to this truth in our hearts. If we have that provision, we have the greatest riches, and nothing can take them away.
