I've had a pretty tough time today. I went to visit a very small Church and at the end of the service two men came up to me and talked with me and welcomed me to the Church. I had so much social anxiety I did not know what to say to them and the whole situation felt so awkward. I felt like I came came across as a snob or came up as being rude when I haven't meant to be one. I'm just painfully shy with extreme social anxiety. It was a very awful feeling. I even felt stupid by asking a stupid question to those 2 guys whether it was okay for me as a Christian Catholic to attend a born again Church. I felt so stupid after asking a question like that just for the sack of making conversation due to my shyness/social anxiety. I sometimes feel unworthy and that God, Jesus, and Mary are not that impressed with me. Also I feel life so very empty in general with a job that I am a slave to and don't really enjoy. I feel like a prisoner to my own life and extremely empty and miserable. Please pray for someone like me. I pray that God, Jesus, and Mary will save me. Thank you.

My Brother you must break this cycle...Perhaps a new screen name would be a good place to start...There is hope...Our Lord will guide you...help you...lead you...It's okay to be shy he understands...And as far as others don't let that bother you...The ONLY one that you should focus on is our Lord Jesus Christ...

I'm proud of you Brother for stepping outside of your comfort zone by seeking a different Church...I can only assume that your Home Church wasn't giving you what your spirit needs...So good job...I know that this action was pleasing to our Lord...

I too was raised Catholic and went to Catholic Schools but soon after I needed more than I was getting as well....It's a personal choice...So I can relate...Brother just go to a safe place that you feel comfortable in and start talking with our Father...Confess all hold nothing back and ask for forgiveness...Once done your forgiven and then let him know that you want him in your life...need him in your life....Let him know how much you appreciate what Jesus did for you...what a great sacrifice that was...let him know how much you love him...

I know your shy and speaking with him may be hard at first but remember, he knows you better that you know yourself...His spirit will lead you....He understands...The Holy Spirit within you will give you the words...Trust him...reach out to him...He's there and ready to talk and listen....He wants a relationship with you...He loves you like no other...He understands you like no other....

Please feel free to send me a private message and we can discuss this further if you choose...God Bless...

My Lord I bow before your greatness and humbly ask that you show love, grace and mercy for my Brother...Father please touch his mind, body and spirit....Refresh him Lord...Give him strength and courage...Build up his confidence Father....Thank you Father thank you...Lord I ask these things in Jesus Holy name...Amen and amen

Father GOD, I pray that you will remind him to confess only good things over his life, because what we speak has power. Lord help him not to confess over his life worries, fear, frustrations, anxiety or depression. Help him to Casting all his cares upon Him, You have not given us a spirit of fear but of power, love and a sound mind. Father god, give him freedom from this bondage in Jesus Holy name I pray. Lord Jesus you are strength when we are weak. Please in your mercy and grace bring peace and joy into his life. Help him to trust you and rest in that trust. In Jesus Holy name I pray amen.

Dear Jesus please listen to our brother's prayers. Lord please give him the lion's courage, let Your words come out of his mouth Dear Jesus. Touch his heart and soul, his mind, Dear Jesus free him of the chains dragging him down. Dear Lord he is slaved by his jb and actua life, give him freedom, Dear Lord free him of the chains holding him, it is the devil's work, Dear Lord cover him with Your precious blood. Dear Jesus he is a prayer warrior, let the Spirit descend upon him and annoint him with Your love and care, loosen his tongue, fill him with courage and determination to find a better life, one where he is happy and satisfied. Help him Jesus, show him the light. Thank You Jesus in You we trust.

I pray that you will learn to count it all joy, my Brother in Christ, for the Lord uses the weaknesses of a man to prove His Glory!

Peter was a fisherman with an anger problem.

Matthew, a tax collector no one liked.and

Moses was a shepherd with a speech impediment.

Peter struggled with unbelief, rejected Christ 3 times.

Still Christ told Mary Magdalene when He rose from the grave,

“Get Peter and tell him to come to me”.

Peter was the first person Christ asked for.

Moses killed a man and lost his temper many times with the Jewish people.

Most of the time, Moses had to deal with insecurity problems, feeling unqualified for God’s calling on his life. God never saw Moses like that.

God used him to do great things!

King David was an adulterer that got another mans wife pregnant; then he murdered her husband - killing him outside of battle; yet he was a man after Gods own heart. God loved David. He used him to conquer nations. He was considered the greatest king to ever live on earth. These men seeked God’s face and gave their lives to God. God worked through these men and used them to do great things for His glory.

The Next Time You Feel Defeated Because of Social Anxiety:

Just Remember:

Noah got drunk, Genesis 9:20-22.

Abraham was too old, Genesis 17.

Jacob was a liar, Genesis 27:19.

Leah was considered ugly, Genesis 29:17

Joseph was abused, Genesis 37:24-36.

Moses stuttered, Exodus 4:10.

Gideon was afraid, Judges 6:21-23.

Samson was a womanizer, Judges 14.

Rahab was a prostitute, Joshua 2:1.

Jeremiah and Timothy were too young, Jeremiah.1:6-7, 2Timothy 1:2.

David had an affair and was a murderer, 2Samuel 11:3-27.

Elijah was suicidal, 1King 19.

Isaiah preached naked, Isaiah 20:2-4.

Jonah ran from God, The book of Jonah

Naomi was a widow, Ruth 1:3.

Peter denied Christ, Matt.26:69-70.

The Disciples fell asleep while praying, Matthew 26:40.

Martha worried about everything, Luke 10:40.

Mary Magdalene was cleansed of seven demons, Mark 16:9.

The Samaritan woman at the well had five husbands, John 4:18.

Zaccheus was too small, Luke 19:3.

Paul suffered weaknesses, and was 'Too Religious', Acts 8:1.

Timothy had an ulcer, 1Timothy 5:23.

Lazarus was dead! John 11.

God determines for you to reach your full potential, dear brother in Christ.

His Eye is On the Sparrow…and I know He watches over you too!

Matthew 10:29

May these examples serve to remind you that God’s grace is greater than ANY insecurities, social anxieties - or even a person's own sins. Nothing is too big or too hard for God. God is greater than any of our weaknesses.

Gods Peace and Love to you.

In the name of the One who came, and has risen and will come again – Jesus Christ be the honor and the glory forever and ever. Amen
