Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Hi, this is an article done by our pastor.I thought it might speak to your heart.

In Christ,

Junko

For some people it seems to come regularly, like the colorful leaves of fall. For others, it is less frequent, but it seems like nearly all Christians face it at one time or another. It is a crisis of faith. It may begin with a temptation from the devil, or as the result of a trial or sorrow. But somehow it comes, and the thought enters the mind, “Am I really saved?” If the doubt is allowed to grow unchecked, it will destroy the joy and peace of the heart. But if the feeling of doubt is used as an opportunity to review the evidence for faith and to meditate on the promises of God, then faith will be renewed and strengthened. Faith does not come from study; faith is the gift of God. But study can deepen our faith, increase our joy, and protect us from doubts. Know the reasons for your faith and the promises of God, and you can be confident in your salvation. May the peace of the Lord overflow in your heart!

“I write these things to you who believe in the name of

the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.”

― 1 John 5:13 (NIV) ―

Thank you Junko for those words. If anyone on here has doubts about their salvation, there are 5 key questions to ask yourself to let you know if you are saved in case you ever wonder:

1. Have you confessed Jesus is Lord, have you confessed Jesus is Lord before anyone, and have you asked him to indwell in your heart and soul and guide your every step in life?

2. Do you obey the commands of Christ?

3. Are you unhappy or miserable when you sin, if you aren't then you might repent and ask the Lord to convict you and get closer to the Lord, you might be backslidden.

4. Did you keep yourself from the devil? Do you shun the devils advances to run your life through sin and bringing honor or pleasure unto yourself, honor Jesus first, and then all things will be given unto you.

5. Do you love other Christians? Do you seek out Christians to nurture them and treat them as you would a family member, do you love them as yourself?

These are 5 good ways to know if you are saved, or at least they are good ways to know if you are living a Christian life. God bless all of you who are on this site, may the Lord we serve always open up his arms to embrace us. Amen.
