So much in Pain even my heart hurts can hardly breathe

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Due to all the abuse, unfairness, and injustices we’re going through Lord, we are your saints; you are to fight and protect us just like you did with David and Goliath. That’s how I feel about what we’re up against. Have mercy on us and bring us your rest now to deal with all of this and regain our healing strength and COPD, asthma, bad wheezing, drop to the ground now. Also, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, heart, and lung issues, and more. Have mercy, Jesus. Amen

We hear the deep anguish in your cry, the weight of suffering pressing upon your body, soul, and spirit. The pain you carry—both physical and emotional—is not hidden from the Lord. He sees every injustice, every wound, every breath stolen by illness and oppression. You are right to call upon Him as your defender, for Scripture declares, *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9). Just as He delivered David from Goliath, He is able to shatter the giants you face today.

Yet we must also speak truth in love: the Lord does not promise immediate deliverance from every trial, but He does promise to walk with you through them. His rest is not the absence of struggle, but the peace that surpasses understanding even in the storm (Philippians 4:7). Your body may be weak, but His strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We rebuke the spirit of despair that whispers you are alone—you are not. Jesus bore your griefs and carried your sorrows (Isaiah 53:4), and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up your physical afflictions, asking the Great Physician to touch your lungs, heart, and every cell ravaged by disease. *"He sent His word and healed them"* (Psalm 107:20). Whether He chooses to heal instantly or sustain you through the battle, we trust His sovereignty. But we must also ask: Are you seeking medical care alongside prayer? The Lord often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of treatments. Neglecting either is not faith—it is presumption.

And to the abuse and injustice you endure—we say with authority: No weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). But have you taken steps to remove yourself from harm’s way? The Lord is your shield, but He also calls us to wisdom. *"Do not give what is holy to the dogs, nor cast your pearls before swine"* (Matthew 7:6). If you are in an unsafe situation, we urge you to seek godly counsel and protection.

Now, we pray:

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, interceding for our brother/sister who is crushed under the weight of suffering. You see every tear, every labored breath, every moment of despair. We ask for Your healing touch—restore their lungs, strengthen their heart, and silence the pain in their body. But more than physical healing, Lord, we ask for Your peace to flood their soul. Let them know they are not forgotten, not abandoned. Fight for them as You fought for David. Expose every injustice and bring it to light. Give them wisdom to navigate their circumstances and courage to trust You even when the path is dark.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus’ name—cancer, COPD, diabetes, arthritis—we command these afflictions to bow to the authority of Christ. We declare that by His stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). But if healing is not Your will in this moment, Lord, give them grace to endure. Let them feel Your presence so tangibly that their pain is overshadowed by Your glory.

And to the abusers, the oppressors, the ones who have caused harm—we ask You to either change their hearts or remove their power. Let justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). Protect our brother/sister from further harm, and if they are in danger, provide a way of escape.

Above all, Lord, draw them closer to You. Let this trial refine their faith like gold, not destroy it. Remind them that You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who answers. May they experience Your rest—not as the world gives, but as only You can provide.

We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and the only name through which we have access to You. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If our brother/sister has not yet surrendered their life to You, we pray they would do so today—for You are the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).

Amen.

Oh, dear friend, we're right here with you, feeling the weight of your burden. It's like you're carrying a mountain on your back, and it's hard to breathe under such a load. We see you, we hear you, and we want you to know that you're not alone. Jesus is right there with you, just as He was with David.

We're praying for you, sister/brother. We're asking the Lord to wrap His healing hands around your lungs, to breathe new life into them. We're interceding for your heart, for strength, for peace. We're crying out to the Lord to expose the injustices you're facing and to bring them to light. We're asking for His wisdom to guide your steps and His courage to fill your heart.

And we're reminding you, dear one, that even in the thick of this storm, even when the path is dark and the pain is overwhelming, you can trust Jesus. He's been through it all, and He's right there with you, carrying your griefs, bearing your sorrows.

We're also encouraging you to seek medical care alongside your prayers. The Lord often works through the hands of doctors and the wisdom of treatments. It's not a lack of faith to seek help, it's wisdom.

We're here for you, praying for you, believing with you, and trusting that the Lord will see you through. He's your refuge, your stronghold, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your pain and your cry for justice before the Lord these past days. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap with you, lifting up the weight of abuse, unfairness, and the heavy burden of physical suffering you’ve described. We have prayed fervently, asking God to fight for you as He did for David, to scatter your enemies and shield you from further harm. We’ve asked Him to breathe His healing over your body—over your heart, lungs, and every part of you affected by COPD, asthma, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, and all the other ailments that have left you struggling to breathe, to stand, even to hope.

If in these days you’ve felt even a moment of His rest, a whisper of His peace, or a touch of His healing power, we would be overjoyed to hear it. Please share with us how God has moved, so we can join you in praise and thanksgiving. But if the battle still rages and the pain still feels overwhelming, we want you to know we are not stepping away. We will continue to lift you up, to declare God’s mercy and justice over your situation, and to believe with you for breakthrough. You are not forgotten, and you are not fighting alone.

May the Lord surround you with His presence, ease your suffering, and restore your strength. May He bring the justice you long for and the healing you desperately need. We will keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing with you until you see His victory in every area of your life. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
