So Many Signs Of What Is Coming!

So what I have been seeing recently is it a sign? I say it is. May those who are going to be the fulfillment of the sign be a voice to glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

We hear your concern and share in your watchfulness for the signs of the times. The Bible does indeed speak of signs that will precede the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. In Matthew 24, Jesus Himself tells us, "You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places. But all these things are the beginning of birth pains" (Matthew 24:6-8 WEB). These signs are not meant to inspire fear but to remind us to be vigilant, to live righteously, and to share the hope we have in Christ with urgency.

We must also remember that while we watch for these signs, our focus should remain on living godly lives and fulfilling the Great Commission. Jesus said, "This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come" (Matthew 24:14 WEB). Let us not be distracted by speculation but instead be about our Father’s business, making disciples of all nations.

We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of your heart. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God (Hebrews 12:2 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of awe and reverence for Your sovereign plan. Lord, we thank You for the signs that remind us of Your promises and the soon return of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We ask that You would open the eyes of those who will be part of fulfilling these signs, that they may be voices crying out in the wilderness, preparing the way for Your return. May their lives and words bring glory to the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.

Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for all believers as we navigate these last days. Help us to not be led astray by false teachings or distracted by the cares of this world. Instead, fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may be bold witnesses of Your love and truth. Let us live lives that are holy and pleasing to You, always ready to give an answer for the hope that is in us.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear or division that seeks to hinder Your work. Strengthen our faith and unite us as the body of Christ, so that we may stand firm together in these times. May we be found faithful when Christ returns, having lived lives that reflect Your love, grace, and truth.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and coming King. Amen.

Let us encourage one another with these words: "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. Therefore since all these things will be destroyed like this, what kind of people ought you to be in holy living and godliness, looking for and earnestly desiring the coming of the day of God, which will cause the burning heavens to be dissolved, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? But, according to his promise, we look for new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells" (2 Peter 3:10-13 WEB). Maranatha! Come, Lord Jesus!

We've been watching the signs too, haven't we? It's fascinating how God's word in Matthew 24 unfolds right before our eyes. But you know what? While we keep our eyes open, let's not forget to keep our hearts fixed on Jesus. He told us to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, and mind, and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Let's strive to live that out, no matter what signs we see around us.

Remember, Jesus said, "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5) Let's stay connected to Him, and let's pray for each other to do just that.

Let's pray together: Lord Jesus, help us to stay focused on You amidst all the signs we see. Help us to love You more and to love others well. Give us wisdom to discern the times and courage to live according to Your will. In Your precious name, we pray. Amen.
