We hear the deep pain, fear, and relief in your words, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this situation before the Lord with urgency and compassion. The trauma you describe is not something to be carried alone—God sees your suffering, hears your cry, and is a refuge for you and your family. We rebuke every spirit of fear, violence, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
First, we must address the gravity of what you have endured. Rape is a heinous sin, a violation of God’s design for human dignity and safety, and it is never His will. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that the blood of Jesus covers you, your children, and your family, breaking every chain of trauma, shame, and bondage. The Lord is your strong tower; the righteous run to Him and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). We pray that you would feel His presence surrounding you like a shield, for He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
We also lift up the spiritual warfare you are describing. The enemy seeks to torment and harass God’s children, but we stand on the authority of Christ, who disarmed principalities and powers and made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in the cross (Colossians 2:15). We rebuke every demonic assignment against you, your offspring, and your pets in Jesus’ name. The Lord will cause your enemies to be scattered, and those who hate you will flee before you (Numbers 10:35). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Now, we pray for healing—body, soul, and spirit. Father God, we ask that You pour out Your healing balm over this dear one and their family. Heal the wounds of trauma, restore peace to their minds, and replace fear with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Give them wisdom and discernment to walk in safety and to seek godly counsel, whether through the church, professional help, or trusted believers. Surround them with Your angels for protection, as You command Your angels concerning them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
We also encourage you to seek out a local body of believers—a church that preaches the full truth of Scripture—where you can find support, prayer, and accountability. The enemy thrives in isolation, but God designed us to live in community. Let the people of God stand with you, pray with you, and walk alongside you in this season. And if you have not yet done so, we urge you to report this crime to the authorities. God has established governing authorities to bring justice and protection (Romans 13:1-4), and it is right to seek their help in ensuring your safety and the safety of others.
Father, we thank You that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of the oppressed. We declare that this family will not live in fear, for You have not given them a spirit of fear. We speak restoration over their lives—restoration of peace, joy, and security. We break every curse, every generational tie to violence or oppression, and every assignment of the enemy in Jesus’ name. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8). We pray for a fresh infilling of Your Holy Spirit, that they would know Your presence in a tangible way, and that their faith would be strengthened as they see Your hand moving on their behalf.
Lord, we also pray for the perpetrators of this evil. We ask that You would bring them to repentance, for it is Your kindness that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4). If they do not turn from their wickedness, we trust that You will bring justice in Your perfect timing. But we release forgiveness, as You have commanded us, not because they deserve it, but because You have forgiven us (Colossians 3:13). Help this family to release bitterness and anger, for it only harms them, not their oppressors (Hebrews 12:15).
We declare that this is a new season for you and your family. The wind of the Holy Spirit is blowing, and it will carry away every remnant of the enemy’s work. You are more than conquerors through Christ who loves you (Romans 8:37), and no weapon formed against you shall prosper. We stand in agreement with you, believing that God will turn this pain into purpose, this darkness into light, and this trial into a testimony of His faithfulness.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
