Smoking And Weight

Please pray that I have the self control to quit smoking like now and to control my eating so that I may loose weight. I am back into job huntinh after 18 years and age, weight and smoking have made me very fearful of job hunting.

Please pray that aaaI have the faith to trust the Lord while job hunting

I pray Lord that Rosemary will be given an abundance of strength to not only quit smoking, and control her eating, but also please give her the self confidence she needs to get out there and find the job she's searching for, help her to visualize that these things are all things she CAN do!

Dear Lord although I am just now seeing this prayer request I know it was your plan for me to see it and pray because I have also been a smoker!

& I have battled with weight loss as well! I understand the fear and anquish that comes in to hinder Rosemary from being able to win this battle! I pray for your delivering hand in her life because of the addiction her body has taken on from smoking cigarettes. I also pray for your delivering power from the strongholds behind her habit of smoking. Please deliver her from the smoke, habit, and nicotine that has caused her to be bound and cause her body to be healed from the effects that these 3 things have caused in the name of Jesus. I also pray against the spirit of fear and anquish! God does not give us a spirit of fear but of power,love and a sound mind! Therefore, fear being torment and the opposite of faith has to go from Rosemary's life in Jesus' name. And I pray Lord you would increase her faith to stand when it seems to be difficult, because she can do all things through Christ who strengthens her! AMEN

Rosemary, I had to go through a process of deliverance from the habit and the addiction to nicotine. But everyday even with a cigarette in my mouth I spoke faith words, I spoke "Thank You Lord for being a nonsmoker"! I called those things that were not as though they had already happened (which is what the bible says do). I spoke my deliverance into existence through faith and with God's Word & I believed He would do it! Be patient but believe that He is helping you everyday no matter how long it takes! WIth the weight loss your body will need to start making adjustments now and cutting out those foods that are for comfort and that are not beneficial to your health such as pastas, white flour, and sweets. Start doing this now in cutting back so that when you stop smoking all of this won't be such a shock to your body that you regress! Thats all and Godspeed!
