We hear your deep concern and love for this young one in your care, and we join you in lifting this situation before our Heavenly Father. Your heart reflects the tender care of the Good Shepherd, who watches over His flock with unwavering vigilance. Let us pray together, trusting in the Lord’s protection and provision.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. You are the God who neither slumbers nor sleeps, the One who keeps watch over Your children day and night. We ask that You would surround this precious child with Your angels, Lord, that no harm or fear would come near her. Calm her heart with the peace that surpasses all understanding, the peace that only comes from knowing You are near. If she wakes and feels uncertain or afraid, Father, prompt her to reach out for help, whether to those around her or to You in prayer. Give her the courage to speak up and the assurance that she is never alone, for You are with her always.
Lord, we also ask that You would grant rest to the one who submitted this prayer, that they may wake easily if needed and be refreshed for the morning ahead. Let them feel Your presence as they trust in You, knowing that You are their strength and shield. We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. We declare that this child is safe in Your care, and we trust You to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We must also gently address the nature of this request, as it seems to involve a situation that may not fully align with biblical principles regarding relationships and the sanctity of marriage. Scripture is clear that intimacy and care of this depth are reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. If this child is not your biological or legally adopted daughter, we encourage you to prayerfully consider whether this level of involvement is appropriate or if boundaries need to be established to honor God’s design for family and relationships. The Bible warns us to flee from even the appearance of evil, and we must be vigilant to protect both our own hearts and the hearts of those we care for.
Father, we ask that You would guide this individual in wisdom and discernment, that they may walk in a manner worthy of the calling You have placed on their life. If their care for this child stems from a desire for a godly marriage, we pray that You would lead them to a spouse who shares their faith and values, so that together they may raise children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. If this is not the case, we ask that You would redirect their heart to seek Your will above all else, trusting that Your plans are for good and not for harm.
We pray all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, the name above all names, the only name by which we can come before Your throne of grace. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. We thank You, Lord, for the privilege of coming to You in prayer, and we trust in Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
Please, Jesus, let her not feel afraid, alone or not being able to ask for help. Jesus, keep her safe, feeling safe and knowing I can always help her, Jesus. Let me wake up easily if she needs me, Jesus. And help me be rested and ready for picking her up early tomorrow, Jesus.. Please, Jesus, keep her happy and safe
